These grass-like weeds can burrow into your pet’s coat and skin which can lead to pain, infection and sometimes even more serious issues. ❤ Today at OHS... it's been non-stop emergencies, rescues, and pleas for help. From tiny kittens to giant dogs, our team has been working long days and enduring sleepless nights, constantly worrying about how we can continue to say "yes" to animals in need.

Over the past few days, we have celebrated victories, fought alongside critically ill and injured animals, and heartbreakingly, helped some beloved pets receive comfort care and their angel wings as they peacefully crossed the rainbow bridge surrounded by compassion and love. 🌈🪽

We are also seeing a heartbreaking surge in surrender requests due to housing challenges and owners facing medical issues, leaving beloved pets with nowhere to go.

Rescue is exhausting. Rescue is expensive. And right now, funds are desperately low.

Please consider purchasing tickets for our Raffle to Rescue and, if you are able, making an additional donation. With just days left, we are working hard to reach our goal and ensure we can continue helping local animals who have nowhere else to turn.
