Unhoused Hair Care Service and Outreach Program Penticton

I work a day job 3-5 days a week and use my 3 breaks a day to bring grab bags full of snacks, gloves, hats, etc and my number to the unhoused people around the Safeway plaza. I have my veterans mental health first aid certificate and my food safe level 1. I have a very small business with my products carried in a couple of shops in town. I have a family that I am very involved in and two pets that depend on me. I have some chronic illnesses and physical disabilities but I work around them. I used to operate out of st. Andrews church until their shower program shut down and then COVID hit. I am currently looking into a new place to be able to cut hair, out of the elements.
