Quarter of a century 🎂

25 ✨ Wow💕!! I’m 25 years old.

Sometimes I still can’t believe it. I’m so proud of myself for coming this far. At 17, I packed two suitcases, left everything familiar behind, and moved to Canada. Looking back, I’m incredibly proud of that little girl. She had no idea what the future would look like, but she kept going anyway.

Every year on my birthday, I usually sit down and film a long talking get-ready-with-me, sharing lessons I’ve learned and things I hope to work on. This year feels different. Instead of talking through it, I wanted to write it down.

Last year, I said I wanted to become more disciplined. I wanted to stop feeling guilty for taking a day off. I wanted to slow down and be kinder to myself. And honestly, I think I worked on all of those things. I learned that not everything deserves my energy. I learned to let some things go. I learned that rest is productive too.

I’m proud of the new connections I made this year. I’m proud of the woman I’m becoming. Not because I have it all figured out, but because every day I’m trying to become the version of myself I admire.

Last year, I also said I wanted to get back into the gym. Have I been perfectly consistent? No. But I showed up. I tried. And I’m proud of that too.

I wanted to travel more, and while I didn’t do as much as I hoped, that dream is still on my list. Maybe this is the year for more adventures, more experiences, and more memories.

This year wasn’t about huge milestones. It was about becoming.

Becoming softer with myself.
Becoming more disciplined.
Becoming less reactive.
Becoming more confident.
Becoming more comfortable with who I am.

At 25, I feel grateful. Grateful for the people who love me, the lessons that shaped me, the opportunities that found me, and even the challenges that made me stronger.

Here’s to growing, learning, healing, exploring, and becoming.
