The very talented Shawna has grown beyond being an incredible stylist behind the chair. She has become a strong and generous mentor to these ladies and if you’re lucky, yours too!

Whether she’s helping refine a technique, build confidence, work through a challenge or create a better guest experience, Shawna is always willing to carve out the time and effort to share what she knows.

One-on-one time with Shawna is at the root of our continued mentorship and success. That kind of mentorship is at the heart of Heiress. We believe a strong salon is built by helping one another grow, become better and genuinely wanting to see each other succeed.

A few things to know about extensions:

* The closer your extensions stay to their original colour, the longer they’ll last. We custom order your hair to match you, rather than colouring the extensions whenever possible.
* Heat styling is absolutely fine, but like your own hair, less is more. Limiting hot tools to 1–2 times per week can significantly extend the life of your investment.
* Professional products and regular treatments help keep both your natural hair and your extensions healthy, soft, and shiny.
* Maintenance appointments every 6–10 weeks (depending on the method) keep your extensions looking seamless and protect your natural hair.
* You can wear your hair up, down, curled, or straight—extensions should feel like your own hair.
* The right extensions should never damage your hair when they’re professionally installed, maintained, and removed.
