****NEW LOCATION UPDATE*****

You may have seen on our social media that we’ll be moving to a new location in January!

This was not an easy decision to make, but it is one we feel is best for the future of our business.
We’re downsizing and going back to basics, focusing on what we do best and what we love most.

Our new space will be home to just Jenny and I, with our wonderful piercer Wina from continuing to join us for regular guest spots twice a month - more dates to be added soon!
will still be available on her regular days each month, so please contact her directly for bookings!

All of the other amazing business owners currently in our Westminster location will be moving into their own new homes from January. Please be sure to follow them on social media to stay up to date with their next chapters. We’re so excited for them all! 🤩

While we’ll no longer operate as a “one-stop shop,” we’re truly excited to step into this new normal and can’t wait to welcome you into our new space at 130–564 Main Street.

In our new space, we’ll be placing a strong focus on our jewellery brand, .of.lyon and to support this growth, I will be servicing a little less so please be patient with bookings for the time being!

Online bookings will remain available for both of us as usual.

We’d like to take this opportunity to sincerely thank every single client who supported us at our Westminster location. The past three years have taught us so much, and we are incredibly grateful for all the love and support we’ve received along the way.

Appreciation post!! 🥹

After every open house I round up all the girls and force them into a group photo, some love it, some hate it 🤣 but I do this because I like to see how the team has evolved and expanded over time, this was our 5th open house in this space!!!

Some of these incredible women have been by my side for over 2yrs (obviously Jenny a lot longer 😅) but all of their commitment to want to grow their business, support each other and be generally good humans is why I absolutely LOVE having each and every one of them in the studio. We’re all excited to watch Robyn’s business grow and look forward to supporting her along the way 🫶🏼

This collaborative space is becoming something bigger than I ever imagined and watching everyone’s business grow is why I started this in the first place 🥹 it hasn’t been great from the start, trust me 😣 I’ve had some rocky times for sure and I’ve learnt some very, very hard lessons along the way but that’s just life and it’s how we grow 🌼

Watching women succeed in business is one of my favourite things to do and that doesn’t just mean the women in my space, I will always be your cheerleader if you’re a woman in business, if that’s giving advice, being an ear to vent or cry, reposting your business and anything else you may need help or support with, it’s a rough world out there, help each other and most importantly be kind ❤️

I felt like these nano combo brows needed a permanent spot on my feed!

I reworked some old work from brows done elsewhere a few years ago, they were faded out enough for me to add the structure that she wanted back into the body of the brow and keep the fronts nice and whispy to create the ombré appearance that she asked for ☺️

Our insanely talented guest artist will be with us here at Beauty and the Blade this Friday May 2nd, she currently has only 2 appointments available at 11.30am and 2pm.

Nano hybrid brows 🤌🏼

My client was shook at how little she felt during the session. She had microblading done twice in the past at a different studio, none of which held in her skin and she said she remembered how painful that was for her and how much the nano technique is night and day compared to that ☺️

But can we also talk about how much of a change this is for my client and how this has transformed her whole face 🤩
