After almost 25 years in esthetics (20 of those as a small business owner!), it’s time for me to say goodbye to the treatment room. 🥹

When I think back to where it all started… picture this: me 19 practicing Brazilian waxes on my kitchen counter with my friends while my poor roommate walked in and pretended this was totally normal. 😂 Fast-forward a couple of decades, and I’m pretty sure I could do one in my sleep.

To everyone who’s trusted me with their brows, skin, and stories over the years — thank you. Truly. 💛

Some of you have been with me since 𝘣𝘦𝘧𝘰𝘳𝘦 I was a mom. I’ve seen you through breakups, first dates, engagements, weddings, pregnancies, and everything in between. It’s been such an honour to be part of your lives through all those seasons — sometimes laughing, sometimes crying, sometimes just talking about what’s for dinner. Many of you became more than clients — you became friends.

I’m endlessly grateful for the love, loyalty, and kindness you’ve shown me over the years.

And a special thank-you to all the amazing staff I’ve had along the way. Essentials wouldn’t have been what it was without you. D and Danielle — you two are absolute gems and now two of my closest friends. There have definitely been some hits and misses when it comes to staff over the years, but you two made all the difference, and I’ll love you forever. 🤍

While I’ll miss our time together, I’m really excited for what’s next. I’m closing my spa to spend more time with my kids, give my body a much-needed break, and follow a new passion — social media and Disney planning! ✨

For the clients who have trusted me with their skin, friends who have let me practice new skills, and for my coworkers who have become friends, thank you for 5 wonderful years. I have learnt so much, gained knowledge, and built beautiful relationships. I’ve had an incredible amount of fun at events and felt a great amount of gratitude for your confidence in my abilities.

My favourite part of this job is when you leave my hands feeling confident and beautiful. I can’t thank Kristie enough for introducing me to this aesthetics world, making it always a fun adventure and not a ‘job’, and giving me my girly outlet.

I will be continuing my career at Glow Skincare Clinic here in Penticton and I am thrilled to continue to expand my skills and treat every client with care and respect.
