My name is Samantha and I’m the human behind Windblest apothecary!

I’m entering my SIXTH YEAR slinging tallow skincare and I wanted to pop on as the market season ramps up to tell you a bit about myself and my brand ✨

I live on a multi generational property in Lanark with my darling son, amazing grandparents, trusty cowboy, and loyal pets

I spent my formative years traveling the globe and dabbling in plants along the way.. subconsciously dreaming up this business !

Windblest apothecary was birthed in the pandemic with the huge support of my bestie .vtg …

I’m so grateful for all the loyal folks who have supported me from my beginnings at the since 2021 and I’m excited to see you all again every Saturday starting May 9th!
You can find my booth inside the crystal palace there every Saturday until thanksgiving ♥️

“How long does it take to make soap?”
… it’s a question I get a lot.
And it’s surprisingly not so straight forward to answer!

Soap making is pretty simple , but it’s a process.
From rendering tallow, to infusing herbs… then making the soap, steaming the tops, and slicing the loaves into bars. Then bevelling the edges, curing for a month…and finally packaging the final product!

It’s a labour of love. And you can feel it when you try our soaps ♥️
