Some softness yet structure to the lower face ⚖️

The lower face is one of the areas that starts to shows age in late 30s — the jawline becomes a bit knobbly, the chin squares out and loses projection, lips deflate

Anatomically, bone is shrinking and fat pads are changing, leading to the changes we start to see

Dermal filler was used here to restore the lines and strength of the jawline (plus lip projection and hydration to balance it all out)

The result — feminine, youthful, and restored

I have been absolutely loving lower face treatments lately. Tox, filler, Radiesse in the mix are all key to having your lower face age in the same decade as your upper face!

M-shapes lip correction with dermal filler

The “M-shaped” lip results from lack of volume in the lateral tubercles of the top lip — we added volume with filler to create a straighter inner border and effectively correcting the M-shape

I’ve heard the argument that if you can’t tell then what’s the point.. it’s the entire point! We don’t aim to have you walking out looking like something was done, only restored to what was once there, naturally.

The real star of the show here is the temple filler … I didn’t do a great job of show casing this in the photos (😖) BUT you can really tell on the left temple of both photos — in the before, the temple has lost volume and curves in at the tail of the brow and creates an indentation when looking head on. This is a perfect example of restoring lost volume to what it once was, not more.

Filler is a great tool when used correctly by a skilled injector 😊

Filler should be undetectable … it shouldn’t stand out, it shouldn’t be obvious, it shouldn’t cause whispers… that’s not what we do here!

Moderate to severe skin folding and lines in the lower face can be improved (not eliminated entirely) and multiple sessions are often required for cumulative effect.
