Serendipity Hair Studio

It is with sadness that I am closing the doors permanently to my studio. It was such an emotional and difficult decision to admit I was ready to leave this industry because it has given me so much and has ultimately enriched and enhanced my life.

To think I moved to Peterborough with my daughter not knowing a single soul, no friends or family here. The thought of having a maxed out clientele seemed literally IMPOSSIBLE!

I am so eternally grateful to have met such wonderful people, and have so many amazing families and friends be placed in my path. To have learned and grown with all of you that have given me such tremendous POSITIVE support. (Even in hard times)

I will never forget all the stories, laughs, smiles, and tears that I have shared with you all behind the chair. The wonderful connections and many friendships that have come out of this is substancial.

Anyone that knows the story behind the studio name, understands that even though I always had a passion for people and creativity, my burning love for doing hair wasn’t instant. Due to my situation and responsibilities at the time, it was “an achievable option”. Being a stylist was not my initial first choice in career, which is shocking to most, even myself now!

How l COMPLETELY underestimated this career. It’s a very tough gig and I commend all my stylist friends for truly being rockstars in this industry.

I grew to fall in love with all of it, and be really great at it. I was inspired and my true passion ignighted because of all of you.

I KNOW that I was MEANT to do this for the last decade. I know this career was such a great one! I have learned so much and gained so much.

I know I will continue to pursue my passion for people, and my love for business and meaningful connections in my new career path, and I appreciate any support and understanding that I felt it was my time to make a change.

I will severely miss you all, it breaks my heart at just how much.

THANKYOU! for the tremendous amount of loyalty and trust all these years! You have truly made the last decade of my life memorable and beautiful. I am so honoured to have had even the smallest part in your lives.

I may not be your friendly neighbourhood stylist anymore, but I will always be your FRIEND and continue to value every single one of you that entered my life by sitting in my chair.

If there are any appointments left with me I will honour what I can.

Hello everyone! This is just a friendly reminder that I am fully booked going into the second/third week of September with limited evenings and weekends.

For anyone that needs to reschedule an appointment, I need to nicely let you know you are running the risk of having to rebook for a way later date (and be out on the cancellation list) . I have done my very best to accommodate all I can and have no wiggle room at this time.

To prevent myself from being too overwhelmed and having no time off I do have to remind everyone including myself 😂that I am only one person. Thank you all for being so understanding and supportive. I promise you I am trying my very best to catch everyone up. ❤️❤️❤️

Hey EVERYONE 👋 I hope everyone is staying happy and healthy during phase 1! Everyone is probably highly anticipating stage ✌️! Which means salons can officially reopen! A big yay! To all my salon friends! Starting this weekend, I will be starting to book people in for the start of July! If you had a pre-booked appointment with me from April to end of June, you will all should be contacted by The end of the weekend. If you are on the wait list, I will contact you as soon as my pre-booked appointments are booked. I am so sorry folks but I am NOT taking on any new clients! Hello everyone! 👋 it’s Dani! Long time no see! Just wanted to pop in to update everyone. I have been flooded with some messages regarding reopening soon. It looks like early July as of right now. Anyone that has a scheduled appointment with me between now and then will automatically be put on a contact list to be contacted as soon as a date is confirmed. If you want an appointment and don’t have one booked at all then I am happy to add you to this list. I hope everyone is doing well and staying healthy. In the meantime, I will continue to focus on what’s in front of me, use this time as a reflection and see the positive in this very negative situation. Love and health friends!
