There is a moment when a tide turns and changes direction, and the current ceases for short time. The tidal water is unstressed, motionless and it relinquishes it’s strength. It’s called Slack Tide.
There is a peace that comes from changing direction, that momentary stillness between one thing being over before the next begins.
