MICRONEEDLING JOURNEY – DAY 4 ✨

I'm still experiencing lots of peeling, especially around my mouth and chin area, which is completely normal during this stage of healing.

This is often where people think the process is slowing down, but in reality, the most important work is just beginning.

The peeling stage has officially arrived!
One of the most common questions I get from clients is, "Is peeling normal?" The answer is yes — for many people, especially after a more corrective treatment.
As you can see, most of my peeling is happening around my mouth and chin area. This is completely expected and is part of the skin's natural renewal process as older, damaged skin cells are replaced with fresh new skin.

A few important reminders:
✔️ Do not pick or peel the skin
✔️ Avoid exfoliants until healing is complete
✔️ Keep the skin hydrated
✔️ Wear SPF daily
✔️ Trust the process

This is my skin on Day 2 after a microneedling treatment using Hyaluronic Acid and PDRN (Salmon DNA). At this stage, it's completely normal to experience some redness, tightness, dryness, and a slightly rough texture as your skin begins its natural repair process.

A little disclaimer: because I was treating my own skin, I worked more aggressively than I would on a client. When performing treatments on my clients, I customize the depth and intensity based on your skin type, concerns, and comfort level to ensure optimal results with minimal downtime.

What happens during the next few days?
