4th year in a row that our house has gotten hit with the stomach flu during the holiday rush at the shop. I apologize to my clients I had to cancel today and I will be in touch tomorrow morning ro reschedule. Will also be in touch with clients in the AM if im still out of commission. 🤮😷 We have the worst luck.

Good morning! Just a head's up that I am FULLY booked until August 9th. Key word, Fully. If you don't pre-book a wait should be expected. I am taking Wednesday's off for the most part now, especially through out the summer where my husband is a seasonal worker and we have a kiddo at home. I too need to enjoy our very short lived summer. I will be taking vacation time starting August 13 and not returning until the 23rd.
Also, if you approach me in the grocery store while im shopping about an appointment dont expect me tell you on the spot when you can come. I dont have my appointment book. Shoot me a messege or a call during my business hours. Its the best way to book. I have been hearing things like "she didnt have time for me" or "she told me she had no room for me". I am only 1 human and can only do so much.
It's the same with canceling or rescheduling appointments. If you need to, no worries. Life happens, but expect a wait time. If I am booked weeks in advance I can't reschedule your appt for the same week, just a different day. I can only do so much. There have been times where there has "been talk" about my business only because I couldn't accommodate someone on their terms if they need to reschedule. Again, im only 1 human. Rumours tend to get back to a person. 😊

A big shout out to all my clients I had booked the last few days. Thank You for being understanding with rescheduling appointments. Hopefully I will be much better next week. I don't think I have ever taken 3 days off in a row due to sickness. But this infection is kicking my butt! 🤕 Hope everyone has a good weekend.

After today, my shop doors will be closed for another 2 weeks because of the pandemic. Im heartbroken for my clients and also for myself. Even though I understand it's hard for a business owner of a tiny shop to have the same restrictions as a large shop. Best to be safe during another wave.
