Who says core work has to be boring?

The rocking plank builds core stability while working your shoulders and hips at the same time, a small movement with a big payoff.

Tag a friend you'd challenge to try this.

Cupping therapy, offered through our acupuncture services.

Suction lifts the skin and soft tissue, increasing blood flow and helping release muscle tension. Common for chronic tightness, back pain, and sports or workplace injuries.

Curious if it's right for you? Ask your practitioner at your next visit, or give us a call to inquire.

Meet the Coast Therapy Team

Behind every patient's care is a team working together, not just individual providers doing their own thing. This series is where you get to know the people who make that happen.

Today, meet Erin, our Director of Clinical Operations. Erin keeps our clinics coordinated and running the way patients deserve, clear communication, consistent standards, and a team that actually works as one.

Q: What drew you to a career in Allied Healthcare?
Allied Healthcare has always had my heart. I love that it allows you to make a real difference in someone’s life—whether physically, mentally, or emotionally.

Q: What does a typical day as Director of Clinical Operations actually look like?
There really is no “typical” day! It’s a mix of supporting our practitioners, solving problems, building better systems, mentoring future leaders, and helping turn big ideas into reality.

Q: What's a fun fact people might not know about you?
I've had some incredible opportunities to work at the Olympics, Paralympics, and the Esports World Cup in Paris—and one of my proudest moments was having the opportunity to carry the Paralympic Torch right here in Vancouver. I also like being in the kitchen cooking home meals or baking, especially sourdough.

Q: What's one piece of advice you'd give someone nervous about their first appointment?
You don’t need to know what to say or have everything figured out before you walk in. Just come as you are—we’ll figure out the rest together.

Q: What do you enjoy most about working at Coast Therapy?
Watching people grow. I love mentoring new practitioners, helping them find their own pathways, build confidence, and eventually start leading in their own way. Seeing that ripple effect is pretty special.

Q: Where's your favourite spot to unwind in your neighbourhood or city?
Honestly, give me a good walk, somewhere outdoors, and my family—and I’m happy.

Q: If you weren't in healthcare, what career do you think you'd have ended up in?
Probably counselling, leadership, business, or event planning. Apparently, I like helping people, bringing ideas to life, and organizing a little bit of chaos!
