we are looking for the right person to join our port elgin team in a unique part-time role that combines salon assisting, content creation + administrative support.

this isn’t your typical salon assistant position! we are looking for someone who is organized, creative, personable and loves being the person who keeps things running smoothly behind the scenes.

the role will include a mix of:

✨ reception, phones & appointment booking
✨ client communication, DMs & email
✨ social media + content creation
✨ inventory management & product ordering
✨ shampooing + helping our stylists when needed
✨ general salon organization & cleaning
✨ administrative support for our ownership team
✨ task + calendar management
✨ marketing + hiring support
✨ some basic bookkeeping/financial admin depending on experience

salon experience is not required. we are more interested in finding someone who is proactive, organized, comfortable with technology and social media, and excited to take ownership of their role.

this will be a part-time (approx 30 hours/week to start) position based primarily in our port elgin salon, with some administrative work supporting our leadership team.
