To my beautiful clients,

It feels a little surreal to be writing this.

After spending the last nine months on maternity leave, I’ve decided it’s time to slowly step back behind the chair. While I’ve absolutely loved every second of being home with Weston (and plan to continue soaking up as much time with him as I can), I’ve really missed creating beautiful hair, connecting with my clients, and the conversations that have always made my job feel like so much more than work.

For now, I’ll be returning for just 5 hours each week. It’s a small step, but it feels like the right one.

Because my availability will be so limited, I won’t be able to see everyone I’ve had the pleasure of looking after over the years. Many of you have found a wonderful fit with another stylist at Elyse Salon while I’ve been away, and that genuinely makes me happy. Please don’t feel like you have to switch back because I’m returning. Knowing you’re in great hands with our team is exactly what I hoped for while I was away.

If you’ve been waiting for my return and my limited hours happen to work for you, I’d love to welcome you back into my chair. And if you’re happy where you are, I hope you’ll simply stop by to say hello if you see me around the salon.

More than anything, I just wanted to share this little update so you wouldn’t be surprised to see me back. Thank you for supporting me through this incredible chapter of becoming a mom. Your patience, kindness, and encouragement have meant more than you know.

I’m looking forward to easing back into the salon, seeing some familiar faces, and finding a balance between work life and home life. In the changing seasons you may see me around even more!
