Over time, permanent makeup naturally evolves. The way your brows age depends on several factors, including the pigments used, the technique performed, and the depth of implantation. As a result, some brows may gradually fade to an unwanted grey tone or lose their original shape.

The good news is that not every set of old brows needs to be removed.

With the right assessment, corrective colour and a soft powder brow technique can often neutralize unwanted tones, restore definition, and create a more natural-looking result that softens your brows.

This client has only ever had powder brows done by me, and this is exactly why pigment choice matters.

I work with inorganic pigments for eyebrows, which means no unexpected colour shifts over time. No ashy tones, no red or grey surprises… just a soft, natural fade as the skin heals and ages.

This client had left them to fade longer than usual but it’s a great example of perfect fade-out.

For this brow refresh, I used Micro-Pigments Midnight Brown Black with a 3RL to create a soft subtle powder look. When it heals it will be even softer and more subtle.

My goal is for healed results that stay true, not just fresh results that look good for a moment.
