I want to sincerely Thank everyone who took the time Saturday to come celebrate the end of my 70 years behind the chair.
Cutting hair was always more than just the haircut, you may have left with a fresh cut, but I was left with so many memories.
I have given so many their first hair cuts, then their children’s first hair cuts, their grandchildren’s and sadly I have given many friends their last cut.

It has been my life, and I am so grateful so all the memories!!

🚨 Port Perry community - we NEED YOUR HELP! Dr. Mark Adams and Dr. Nancy Kazarian’s son Zach is an avid tennis player, a mountain biker and a golfer - and he’s also battling leukemia. The average acute leukemia patient needs 18 people to donate blood for every month of treatment, with the average treatment time being between 8 and 12 months. Zach has had at least 20 transfusions of blood and blood products since his diagnosis at the beginning of June, but more are expected.

That’s where YOU come in. Here’s how you can help:

1. 🩸DONATE blood and blood products! There’s a group blood donation appointment already booked on September 6 from 3:30-6pm at Scugog Community Centre, and another one on September 16 from 12:10-2pm at Uxbridge Arena and Recreation Centre. You just need to attend and roll up those sleeves! (You can also find your own blood donor centre and donate at a time convenient to you)
2. 🤝Recruit friends and family to be donors (who can donate multiple times!)
3. 📣Raise awareness - SHARE this post!
