Keeping you clean in a dirty world. Sugar Bee Bath soaps are handmade in small batches with natural ingredients to keep your skin clean and moisturized.

Lots of scents to choose from! Sugar Bee was created so that everyone can enjoy the benefits of handmade, cold-process soap. Our cocoa butter soap is made from a few simple ingredients: a blend of oils, cocoa butter, lye, and various essential/fragrance oils.

What we came up with was a wonderfully long-lasting, moisturizing bar with a smooth, creamy lather. Hand-created in small batches, the goa

Unfortunately, I came down with some kind of stomach bug yesterday, and I am not going to be able to make it to the Farmer's Market this final time πŸ˜”

I was hoping to come a bit later today, but I'm still very weak and fighting little waves of illness today. I hope everyone has a Merry Christmas and Happy Holiday πŸŽ„πŸ””πŸŽβ˜ƒοΈ

Today is the second last day of the Winter Market...

But also I'm so proud of my latest batch of "Kistapinanihk" soap, I wanna show it off! πŸ™†πŸ½β€β™€οΈ

I think I FINALLY managed to capture both the lights of the north AND the plains and living skies of the south of Prince Albert with this one!
πŸ’šπŸ’›πŸ’š

"Kistapinanihk" means "gathering place", and was how the Cree referred to the Prince Albert area prior to its settlement. The smokey, woodsy scent is reminiscent of campfires, smudging, and the boreal forest...with a touch of cool eucalyptus oil to represent our beautiful lakes and the North Saskatchewan River πŸ€—

Spice blends.. I had spice blends for this Saturday. Did I remember to bring them today? πŸ€¦πŸ½β€β™€οΈ Of course not! 🫠

Instead, allow me to introduce "Natural", a scent-free, color-free bar πŸ€— It's the same skin-conditioning formula I usually use, but without any additives. My partner's surprise review of it after he tried it was, "Wow, that soap is awesome!" Considering how tough it is to get his opinion on ANYTHING, that unprovoked positive one means it HAS to be good! πŸ˜„

Anyway, spices at the Farmer's Market next Saturday, but for today...SOAP! 😁

ATTENTION: I will not be doing any Christmas craft shows this year, because I'll be here at the Winter Farmer's Market in the Gateway Mall every Saturday until Christmas, with many wonderful vendors! Location is in the old SportCheck/old OLD Zellers/space behind where the lottery kiosk USED to be... πŸ˜‚

Starting next week, I will have more than just soap and lotion for sale...BUT it won't be cosmetic or skin care products.

Intrigued? I hope so! 😊 Stay tuned!

Unfortunately, I will not be at the Farmer's Market tomorrow due to having to deal with the rebatch I last posted about instead. It's a very large batch, but I certainly didn't expect to take as long as it already has, let alone become an all-day-overnight thing πŸ˜„

Gotta love making terrible mistakes! πŸ˜„

Kinda figured something was wrong when this didn't fill all my molds πŸ˜‚ I forgot to add roughly 1/3 of my oils when I made the latest batch of 'Kistapihnanik', resulting in hard, crumbly soap with a lye concentration nobody should ever put on their skin (although if not coloured it would make a great stain remover!) 😳

So, instead of throwing it all out, I am doing what's generally known as a "rebatch". The soap is cut into smaller chunks (or grated), then I add water and melt it at a very low heat until it is the consistency of thick pudding. At that point I can add the missing oils, keep it on the heat until it reaches the same consistency, and THEN pour back into the molds. The downside of this is I lose all the beautiful colors... and this one in particular was SO pretty too!

I've only ever had to do this once before years ago, under slightly different circumstances, so 🀞🏽 it works again!

πŸ™‹πŸΎβ€β™‚οΈ Introducing "Rain Man"! All the skin-softening, squeaky clean goodness of Sugar Bee Bath bars, with a light cologne scent reminiscent of Davidoff's Cool Water.

He can be a bit rough around the edges, but that’s just part of his charm. 😊 He loves getting dirty, but he cleans up reeeal nice. Subtle yet strong, with just the right amount of rugged finesse, Rain Man fits firmly in your hand and works up a vigorously creamy lather. 😏 He has a wonderful habit of leaving you cleanly satisfied...and he's making his debut at the Prince Albert Farmer's Market today! πŸ˜ƒ

I'm literally chilling out at the Farmer's Market this cold morning! πŸ˜„

I will be doing the market today and Saturday, then you can find me at for the next couple of weeks before heading back to the market to close out this season!

This might be my last Farmer's Market this summer 😳

I only did four markets this year, and did far better than I could have imagined! So well, I'm almost out of stock. 😭 Since each batch takes 8 weeks to cure (and there's only one of me), I have to wait until fall 🍁 for enough for another market.

If you can't come out today, you can still find Sugar Bee Bath in (corner of Central and 12th St) and Keethanow Gift Shop in Waskesiu!

And stay tuned...I have some exciting things in the works 😁

I see my post about not being able to get to the Street Fair didn't post 😐

Well, since I couldn't make it to the Street Fair on Saturday due to health issues, I'm all set up at the Farmer's Market on Central Avenue today! Come on out... it's pretty easy to find me lol.

I will also be at the Farmer's Market on Saturday if you can't make it today 😊
