Ye**ty Beast Protocol Update
So far everything is going very well. All steps have been really easy to administer. The only thing i've noticed so far is his left ear has flared up, & he does seem a bit itchier. I've decided to continue with the treatment because i wouldnt consider those symptoms worsening conditions.
I have FINALLY found a dry kibble with ZERO allergens in it. So i am excited that Pet Planet Prince Albert can order that in for me. So the trick to that is keeping his food low carb, & low sugar so the yeast has nothing to thrive on.
I will however probably continue to feed raw until we are done the Ye**ty Beast Protocol. If all else fails it will just be managing the yeast & Pet Planet has supplements for that as well! This journey is about getting Maverick healthy again, & its been a long game.

Day 1 - Ye**ty Beast Protocol
As you can see all of where Maverick has lost hair, that used to be very red & very inflamed. So just switching to raw has helped immensely. Not that there are no allergies present we need to get the yeast under control.
Step 1 is three days long & you keep administering Step 1 twice daily until the bottle is empty!

As i had mentioned, im taking you all on a little mini series over the next couple of months. Mave has lost approximately 15lbs, & all the hair in his groin. These last few steps im taking are it before i probably bite the bullet on Apoquil & Cytopoint. We are doing The Ye**ty Beast Protocol, & The Leaky Gut Protocol. Follow along if you'd like!
Something i've taken for granted is having healthy animals. Hoping to have him back to a healthy weight, & fully training again soon. 💗

since easter weekend i've been putting work in, & may felt like the deepest point of the trenches im not going to lie. 😅
your girl is insanely blessed with the little life she's built for herself, & all the people she has in it.
i challenged my team leader certification with GSAR & passed. to be honest in my opinion i didnt think i was going to. everything that went wrong during my field exam went wrong. this progresses me one step forward with maverick & i need to put in even more work. if anyone ever wants to hang out with the dogs i would so appreciate that.
i've had chip & lucifer now for two months this months & to be honest i love having a busy house like this. maverick doesnt seem as lonely anymore, & he has a buddy to bother & a buddy to play with!!
i finally got out cycling which was so healing. so if you catch me out there on the blue bike say hi!
more k9 SAR training! im really trying to amplify my schedule to allow more of this. as i really need to start putting in work work.
& we celebrated my best friend at her bridal shower. watching her turn into a mother & now a wife has been such a wholesome life change to watch & i am so proud of everything shes handled & accomplished. (who knows if she'll even read this far)
lots of magic along the way, so im going to say may was the month of the work done in the shadows no one sees & you will reap the rewards of it later.

april was big big changes. big overflowing happiness cup changes. its always so hard for me to balance everything. i feel like i have my hands so deeply in pots that i love, & its hard to find that give & take balance.
we are currently enjoying having some extra guests around the house. thank you to everyone whose participated in training & followed my directions! your making the transition so much easier 💗
maverick & i attended a two day K9 SAR training session & man that was amazing! during this time we did mock tests. as much work as we have ahead of us, i was so happy with how far we have come!
