I’ve had a lot of people asking about me and why I wasn’t at the MMIW symposium—and I just want to say, I truly feel the love behind those questions 🤍

February and March were very full and heavy for me. I was feeling burnt out, and then my children got sick, so we stayed home to rest, recover, and do our part not to spread any coughs or colds.

March also brings a lot of personal grief for me, and I needed that time to pour back into myself and rebuild my strength.

MMIW is something I carry deeply in my heart. It’s emotional, it’s heavy, and it asks a lot of us. This time, I had to honor where I was at and recognize that I needed to take a step back.

I’m learning that strength isn’t just showing up—it’s also knowing when to rest, heal, and take care of yourself.

Thank you for thinking of me, for asking about me, and for holding space for our women, our families, and our communities.

Our existence is our resistance ♥️🪶
