Never ever getting tired of these visuals - our #4 reel or the year 🤯 created by @taylorlozan We need the hair to be clarified so it can EXPAND. Companies put a silicone layer on the hair that needs removed before installation. (Ok why do I care?) You may be installing more hair than necessary, and more importantly not getting a true representation of what needs to happen during the cut. The hair does not move the same with this silicone layer on it.. Also! It typically looks a bit lighter after shampooing so that’s something to factor in as well! If you plan on coloring you will get really unpredictable results if you don’t clarify the wefts first. Thankfully I was taught all of this from the start but just in case your method didn’t- now ya know! I’m here to make your life easier🙏🏻 Do you clarify your wefts before installing?

When it comes to hair extensions, height matters! Believe it or not, these women are all wearing 20" Bellami Hair Pro weft extensions. 🤯 We love this explanation below by Bellami Hair Pro Senior Educator @amandabrunohair on how height impacts the length of extensions. Keep this in mind when helping your clients determine which length will help them achieve the look they desire. 🤌 - - - - - - - - - - - - How does height affect your extension length?! The taller someone is means their body, torso, or neck is probably longer than someone on the shorter side. This means the hair extensions have a longer distance to travel against the body. Where someone on the shorter / petite side has the opposite effect & the extensions have a less distance to travel, making the hair appear longer. In this case if your guest is tall, you may want to recommend a longer length option. If your guest is more petite I love to hype them up and say, “20 inches will look like 22s-24s on you!” All 3 of us are wearing 20” @bellamihairpro weft extensions.
