Critter Suds are making their market debut tomorrow at the Quesnel Farmers Market!!

I’ve playing around with a gentle, unscented kids soap made with 80% olive oil, and these little critters will be making their market debut.

No fragrance, no fancy colours—just a mild, simple soap that’s great for little hands and anyone who prefers to skip the scent.

I’ll have a limited number available, along with all the regular soaps.

See you tomorrow at the Helen Dixon Centre from 8:30 am to 1:00 pm.

I don't get to play with soap much anymore.

Most of the time I'm busy making customer favourites, getting ready for markets, and keeping shelves stocked.

I decided to ignore all that and just make something because it looked like fun and this is the result.

Scented with light, citrusy scent and lots of swirls - only 10 bars available. I won’t be at the market this weekend but will be back June 13 and they’re will be available then or message me if you want one sooner!

You get to sort through the selection and choose the pieces you want. Sold by weight:

$15/kg with any market purchase
$20/kg without a purchase
(1 kg is approximately equal to 7–8 full sized bars of soap.)

Another successful soapmaking workshop finished up last night.

These are the soaps made by this fun group! — every batch unique and each person picking their own scent/colour combos!!

Over the summer, I won’t be running regular scheduled classes, but I will be offering private workshops for groups of 2–4 people booked around your schedule.

Private workshops are a great option for:• friends wanting to learn together• birthdays or girls’ afternoons• family activities• visitors from out of town• anyone wanting a smaller, relaxed learning environment

Workshops are fully hands-on and held in my home soap studio in Quesnel. You’ll learn the complete soapmaking process including safe handling, mixing, scent blending, colour, pouring, and curing.

If you’ve been thinking about taking a class, summer is the perfect time to book your own small group session.
