Good Sunday Morning Red Bay! I hope everyone is enjoying these absolutely gorgeous fall days! ☀️ Lots of big beautiful cod fish coming ashore during the final days of our recreational cod fishery. Isn’t that a beautiful thing to be witnessing after some very challenging years / decades, and some lovely conditions on the water as well, so everyone can get out there and enjoy! Good stuff !!!

A reminder that we have an 11:00am church service in Red Bay on this beautiful Sunday. Why not come out this morning for some fellowship and worship. EVERYONE is welcome at our beautiful church on the hill and we would love to see you take part in our service on this Sunday and certainly, any Sunday !!! 😊🙏

We have an exceptionally busy start to our week coming up, with the “National Geographic Explorer” and “L’Austral” making full day stops on Monday and Tuesday respectively. As always, we appreciate your cooperation and understanding as we kindly request that all boats be moved away from the town docking facilities no later than 6:00pm this evening.

Our guests love nothing more than seeing and speaking with residents and locals from our community and region, so why not come out and have a chat or share a local story! These fine folks and “new friends” come from every corner of the world and are absolutely fascinated by our local culture and heritage. 😊
Or just come out and say hello on a beautiful Southern Labrador fall day and take in some of our wonderful salt air !!! Great for the heart, lungs, and spirit !!! 😌

WELCOME to beautiful historic Red Bay National Geographic Explorer and L’Austral … we’re so happy to have you !!!!! 😃

Hey Red Bay !!! Our beautiful historic home had the honour last evening of receiving the very prestigious “Award of Historical Marine Significance” at the 9th annual Turning the Tide gala in St. John’s, NL. Thank you so much Turning the Tide and to all involved in making this major accomplishment a reality. 😊

On hand to accept our award was Deputy Mayor Wanita Stone, and MHA Lisa Dempster. A truly remarkable evening for our National Historic Site, our UNESCO World Heritage Site, and most of all, our beloved residents! This award belongs to each and every one of you Red Bay! Well Done!
