Today we celebrate the strength, resilience, and heart of women everywhere. š
To the moms, dog moms, stepmoms, grandmas, aunts, sisters, and the women who show up for others every single day ā you are incredible. You are the ones who keep the world turning. The ones who still cook dinner when youāre exhausted, still fold the laundry when youāre not feeling your best, still hold families together with love, strength, and patience.
And a special shoutout to the women choosing themselves too ā prioritizing their health, protecting their peace, chasing their goals, and becoming the strongest, happiest version of themselves. Taking care of you is powerful.
To every woman doing the best she can with what she has ā you are seen, you are valued, and you are absolutely badass.
Happy International Womenās Day to all the strong, unstoppable women around the world. šāØ

Sobriety is different when you finally do it for the right reason.
For a long time I went back and forth.
I thought I had to drink to fit in.
To be liked.
To be fun.
To be attractive.
I honestly believed I might never find someone if I wasnāt partying.
At the same time, I was trying to live a healthy lifestyle⦠and binge drinking or using substances didnāt fit that life. So I battled myself for years. Iād go a month sober, then right back to drinking again.
When I got into a relationship with someone who is sober, I initially chose sobriety to support him.
But eventually I had to do the real work and realize something important:
You cannot stay sober for someone else.
You have to do it for YOU.
There have been moments recently where I questioned it.
Moments where I thought, āMaybe I could just have a few drinks⦠maybe I could party again and be fine.ā
But the truth is ā I know I canāt.
On vacation I jokingly told my oldest son,
āWell⦠weāre in another country, maybe I should be able to have a few drinks.ā
His response?
āYou still have the same body, Mom. It doesnāt work like that.ā
And honestly⦠I felt proud.
Proud that he understood.
Proud that he sees the work Iāve done.
Proud that he knows the sober version of his mom is the best version.
It only takes one moment of weakness.
One āyeah, do itā from the wrong person.
One bad decision to destroy your sobriety.
Your vibe attracts your tribe.
If you surround yourself with five people who are stuck in chaos, youāll be the sixth.
If you surround yourself with people who are growing, healing, and pushing themselves to be better⦠youāll become that too.
Choose wisely.
Your life literally depends on it.

I was on the wagon.
Then off.
Then kind of on again.
And then⦠I started hating the gym.
I dreaded going.
My joints hurt.
I felt heavy.
I made excuses.
And then I had a real moment with myself:
If you donāt like where youāre at ā fix it.
If not, you stay there.
So I joined a new gym.
New faces.
New atmosphere.
Intense HIIT classes.
And even though I KNOW Iām strongā¦
I felt small.
Like I didnāt belong.
Like I was the bottom of the barrel.
Like I had something to prove.
I pushed myself so hard I was heading toward injury ā not progress.
And nobody talks about that part.
Starting over is uncomfortable.
Being the new person is uncomfortable.
Not being the best in the room is uncomfortable.
So I did something different.
I got out of my head.
I had a real conversation with a coach.
I admitted where I was at instead of pretending I was fine.
And everything shifted.
This week has been my best week of workouts in months.
My joints feel better.
My body feels lighter.
My mindset feels clear.
And hereās the thing ā life didnāt slow down.
Itās a lot.
But hereās the truth:
No one is coming to save you.
You either stay stuck ā or you move.
Iāve been to rock bottom before.
You donāt climb out by waiting.
You climb out by taking one uncomfortable step forward at a time.
Whatever youāre going through right now ā itās temporary.
Youāve survived 100% of your worst days.
The only direction from here?
Forward. š„

New gym. New limits. New challenges.
Stepping way outside my comfort zone and leaning all the way in.
Excited for whatās comingāthe grind, the community, the discipline, and the growth.
No shortcuts. Just determination, consistency, and showing up.
Letās see what Iām made of. š„

Another big order to complete, today ā”ā”

This morning hit different.
Driving myself to work. Music up. Heart full.
Iām not where I want to be yet ā and Iām okay saying that out loud. But I know where Iām going, and I trust the direction Iām moving in.
A couple weeks ago I heard something that stuck with me:
You donāt have to stay sober tomorrow. You just have to stay sober today.
And honestly? That applies to everything.
I donāt have to eat perfectly tomorrow.
I donāt have to have it all figured out next week.
I just have to make the right choice today.
Today Iām grateful.
Grateful I can drive to a job.
Grateful my kids are healthy.
Grateful Iām healthy.
Grateful for my partner
Grateful for a roof over my head and a life Iāve worked hard for.
The world can feel heavy. Thereās so much struggle around us.
But even when things feel messy or unfinished, there is always something to be thankful for.
So today? Iām choosing gratitude.
Iām choosing direction over perfection.
And Iām trusting that if I keep showing up for today, the future will take care of itself.
Turn the music up. Keep moving forward.
Weāre getting there. š

Being a mom is wild.
One minute youāre worried your kid wonāt need you anymore because heās driving nowā¦
and the next minute his truck wonāt start ā āCall mom.ā
Tire comes off the rim ā āCall mom.ā
So we changed it together, and he said "twice in one week you bailed me out" I will ALWAYS be there. No matter what, kid.
And then I still went to the gym, even though I went an hour later than I wanted to.
This month alone, Iāve driven to the gym twice⦠parked⦠and left.
Not because I didnāt have time.
But because it was ātoo fullā and I felt ashamed to walk in.
Iāve put on weight.
Iām not where I used to be.
And for a moment, I let my mind win.
Then it hit me:
How can I keep doing all the things I do as I get older if Iām not healthy?
How can I keep showing up for my kids ā and one day my grandkids ā if I donāt take care of myself?
This isnāt a temporary shift.
This is a lifestyle shift.
Iām always busy.
Always doing something.
Helping someone.
Running kids to sports, playdates, driving the neighbour kids home, juggling life at full speed.
But hereās the truth Iām finally owning:
š Itās imperative to make time for you, no matter what.
Not when life slows down.
Not when things are perfect.
But now.
Because strong moms raise strong families ā and we deserve to feel strong too. šŖāØ
