I’ll be the first to admit….this is one of the agreements (referencing Don Miguel Ruiz The Four Agreements) that I have to practice most in my intimate relationships.

I don’t like to feel like a disappointment or like Im failing, or like I’ve let someone down…. or even worse, when I THINK someone has a certain perspective of me (another one of the Agreements - DO NOT ASSUME)…. However, I’m human - I feel those feels sometimes and all I can do is my best to do better when I recognize these sneaky little things surfacing.

The ego always wants to make it about itself……whether good or bad.

Guess what?

What other people do, how other people respond and what other people say has nothing to do with you.

What you do get to choose is how YOU respond.

We can choose to respond out of love or out of fear….. both are powerful motivators…… however, that JOY! Mmm! That scrumptiois joy, feels so much lovlier!
