The Menopause Clinic
The Menopause Clinic offers expert care in perimenopause, menopause, contraception, medical aesthetics, and integrative wellness.
We empower women of all ages with personalized, science-based care in hormone health, beauty, and lifelong vitality.
Do you leak when you laugh, cough, sneeze, run or exercise?
Let’s talk about why.
When you cough, laugh, jump or lift something heavy, pressure inside your abdomen increases. Your pelvic floor, abdominal muscles, diaphragm and surrounding muscles work together to manage that pressure and support your bladder and pelvic organs.
If the pelvic floor and urethral support can’t adequately counter that sudden increase in pressure, urine can leak.
This is called stress urinary incontinence.
It can become more common after pregnancy and childbirth, with pelvic-floor injury or weakness, and as we move through midlife. Menopause can add another layer: declining estrogen affects the tissues of the va**na, v***a and lower urinary tract and may contribute to urinary symptoms.
And here’s something I want more women to understand:
Your pelvic floor doesn’t work in isolation.
Think of your trunk almost like a cylinder:
Your diaphragm is at the top.
Your abdominal and back muscles surround the sides.
Your pelvic floor forms the bottom.
These muscles coordinate with one another when we breathe, lift, cough, exercise and move.
That is the thinking behind Core to Floor.
EMSELLA® uses electromagnetic energy to stimulate repeated pelvic-floor muscle contractions while you remain fully clothed and seated.
EMSCULPT NEO® uses electromagnetic energy to stimulate powerful muscle contractions and radiofrequency heating. When we use it as part of Core to Floor, we are targeting the abdominal musculature.
The goal is to work on both the core and the floor rather than thinking about one muscle group alone.
But technology isn’t appropriate for everyone, and bladder leakage isn’t always caused by the same thing.
Urgency incontinence, stress incontinence, pelvic-organ prolapse, recurrent urinary infections and genitourinary syndrome of menopause can overlap, and sometimes what a woman really needs is pelvic-floor physiotherapy, medical treatment, local va**nal estrogen, further investigation, or a combination of approaches.
The first step is understanding what you’re treating.
Because while bladder leakage is common, especially after childbirth and through midlife, women shouldn’t simply be told:
“That’s what happens when you get older.”
The outcome we’re working toward is much more meaningful than a number of muscle contractions.
It’s being able to laugh without thinking about your bladder. Run without worrying about leaking. Exercise with confidence. And feel stronger in your body.
If this sounds familiar and you’d like to understand whether Core to Floor may be appropriate for you, book a complimentary consultation with our team.

Individual suitability and outcomes vary. Assessment is required. Device-based treatment does not replace pelvic-floor physiotherapy or medical evaluation when indicated.

Perimenopause doesn't always announce itself with a hot flash.
For many women, the first changes are subtle, sleep isn't quite the same, periods change, anxiety appears out of nowhere, concentration feels harder, or their body simply starts to feel different.
Understanding the menopause transition before you're struggling to navigate it can make an enormous difference.
Here are 5 things I wish every woman knew. 🤍
Save this one. Share it with a woman who should know this too.
Strong. Sculpted. Still you.
We’ve been sharing the journey of building our new clinic. Now we finally get to start showing you what’s inside. 🤍
Meet EMSCULPT NEO® , one of the technologies we’ve chosen for our medical aesthetics and body contouring program.
EMSCULPT NEO combines radiofrequency heating with high-intensity electromagnetic energy to simultaneously target muscle and fat in the treatment area.
For women navigating changes in their bodies through midlife, or anyone looking for greater muscle definition and body contouring without surgery, it gives us another option to help you work toward your individual goals.
And because we don't believe aesthetic care should be about becoming someone else:
Your body doesn't need to look younger.
It doesn't need to look like anyone else's.
It gets to be yours.
We’re simply here to offer evidence-informed options for the things you choose to change.
EMSCULPT NEO® Body Sculpting is now available at The Menopause Clinic.
And there’s another side to this technology that I’m especially excited about, strength and function. We’ll be sharing that soon.
Individual results vary. Consultation is required to determine treatment suitability.
What a week. 🤍
From unpacking boxes and putting the final touches in place… to opening our doors and finally welcoming patients into our new home.
This week has been about learning, settling in, testing new systems, finding our rhythm as a new team, and loving every minute of finally sharing this space with you.
As with any big transition, we are still ironing out a few first-week kinks. New systems, some missing data from our transition, and even a power outage have certainly kept us on our toes! 😅
So, we ask for just a little continued patience as our team navigates these early days and gets everything running as smoothly as we want it to.
But walking through these doors each morning and seeing this clinic come to life has been incredibly special.
Thank you to our patients, referring providers, community, friends and family for the encouragement and patience you have shown us.
We are here. We are open. And this exciting new chapter of The Menopause Clinic has officially begun.
We cannot wait to share more with you.

The final transition is officially underway.
We have now finished seeing patients at our previous clinic location and are taking the next week to move our team, equipment and systems into our new home.
Effective immediately, we are no longer seeing patients or accepting referrals through our previous location.
For all new referrals, please use our new dedicated fax number:
📠 403-885-8802
Our new clinic will open for patient visits on September 8, when we will also begin welcoming your phone calls and in-person enquiries at:
📍 The Menopause Clinic
Suite 102, 4315 55 Ave
Red Deer, Alberta
📞 403-885-8800
Over the next week, there will be a lot happening behind those doors, treatment rooms being prepared, technology being installed, shelves being stocked, systems being tested, and our growing team getting ready.
We appreciate your patience while we make this final transition.
After two years of building, learning and refining what we want menopause care to look like, it feels incredible to finally bring everyone together under one roof.
One more week.
We cannot wait to welcome you on September 8.

Two weeks to go. 🤍
Two weeks until we open the doors.
A few weeks ago, I shared some of the vision behind our new clinic. Now that we’re getting closer, I can finally start sharing what that vision is going to look like.
I wanted to create a place for women where we could think beyond a single appointment, a single symptom, or even menopause alone.
Because healthy aging is about so much more.
It’s preserving muscle, strength and function as we age.
It’s having access to pelvic physiotherapy when bladder, pelvic or sexual health changes.
It’s recognizing the importance of mental health and counselling.
It’s having thoughtful support for nutrition, metabolic health and body composition.
It’s being able to objectively assess strength, balance, power and physical performance, and then actually know what to work on.
And it’s also okay to care about how we look and feel in our bodies.
So yes, our new home will also include skin health, medical aesthetics, body sculpting and treatments designed to support how women want to age.
All in one place.
Not because every woman needs every service.
But because every woman deserves the opportunity to decide what healthy aging looks like for her.
And perhaps the part I am most excited to share with you next is the incredible group of women who said yes to building this with me.
Physiotherapy. Nutrition. Counselling. Naturopathic Medicine. Nursing. Aesthetics. Medicine.
Two weeks to go.
There is so much more coming. 🤍

FOUR WEEKS. 💛
Today marks four weeks until we open the doors to the new home of The Menopause Clinic.
Walking through the space now, I can finally see a vision I’ve carried for a very long time becoming real.
And while I’m incredibly excited about the beautiful clinic, the new technologies, the programs we’re developing, and some amazing products I’ve been sourcing for our patients…
What I’m most excited about is the people who will fill it.
I could never build the clinic I envision alone.
Every incredible woman joining me brings something different to the care of our patients.
Our nurses, who will have the time to educate, follow up, answer questions and help women understand their health.
Our administrative team, who are often the first voices our patients hear and who keep an increasingly complex clinic moving behind the scenes.
Our pelvic health physiotherapist, bringing an entirely different level of expertise to pelvic health, pain, function and recovery.
Our naturopathic doctor, expanding the conversations we can have around nutrition, lifestyle and integrative approaches to health.
Our allied health professionals, helping us address nutrition, strength, metabolic health and the many pieces of healthy aging that simply cannot be addressed in a 20-minute physician appointment.
And the physicians who are joining me, bringing their own knowledge, experience and commitment to caring for women and helping us improve access for the enormous number of patients who are looking for this care.
Every one of these women is helping me make this dream possible.
Because my vision has never been to build a clinic where everything revolves around one physician.
It’s to build a team around the woman.
A place where we can look beyond one symptom or one prescription and support her hormones, pelvic and sexual health, mental wellbeing, sleep, metabolism, strength, bones, skin, nutrition and long-term health.
And yes… there are some pretty incredible things arriving too. 😉
New technology for pelvic and intimate wellness.
New approaches to muscle, strength and body composition.
Technology supporting mental wellness and cognition.
Advanced options for midlife skin.
New programs.
Beautiful, carefully curated products.
And a few things I’m still keeping under wraps.
But none of those things matter without knowledgeable people behind them.
The beautiful building is simply the space.
The people inside it will be The Menopause Clinic.
To every nurse, physician, allied health professional and administrative team member who has chosen to join me in this next chapter: thank you for believing in what we’re building.
And to our patients, thank you for trusting us enough to allow it to grow.
Four weeks.
I am exhausted, excited, slightly terrified 😂, and incredibly proud of what is taking shape.
September 8.
I cannot wait to finally welcome you through those doors.

If you’ve noticed we’ve been a little quieter than usual on social media lately, it’s because every spare moment has been spent building something very special.
Over the past few months, we’ve been carefully curating every part of The Menopause Clinic.
Not just the clinic itself…
But the entire experience.
We’ve been sourcing products that we genuinely believe in. Developing new patient programs. Refining our care pathways. Expanding our team. Introducing new technologies. And creating a beautiful space where women feel comfortable, supported, and truly listened to.
Every decision has been intentional.
Not because we want to offer more…
But because we want to offer better.
My vision has always been to create more than a menopause clinic.
I want to create a place where women can find answers, evidence-based care, education, and support through every stage of perimenopause, menopause, and healthy aging.
To every patient who has trusted us with your care, thank you.
Your encouragement, your feedback, and your trust have shaped every decision we’ve made.
We’re almost ready to share what we’ve been building.
✨ New technologies
✨ Thoughtfully curated products
✨ New programs and services
✨ An expanded team
✨ A beautiful new space designed entirely around women’s health
And perhaps a few surprises along the way…
I truly believe the best is yet to come.
We can’t wait to welcome you into the next chapter of The Menopause Clinic. 💛
