Are you shedding more lashes than normal?
Just like these beautiful fall leaves, our lashes go through their own little life cycle! 🌿
So, let’s break it down! Just as trees shed their leaves in the fall, our natural lashes also have a cycle where they grow, mature, and eventually fall out. 🌱
1. Anagen Phase: This is the growth phase! Think of it as when leaves are full of life and vibrant green. Your lashes are growing strong and healthy during this time!
2. Catagen Phase: This is the transitional phase. Just like leaves start changing colors, your lashes are getting ready to make a move. They stop growing and prepare for a little rest.
3. Telogen Phase: The shedding phase! Just like the leaves that have turned and are ready to fall, your lashes will naturally shed to make way for new growth. This is totally normal!
During this “shed season,” it’s important to remember that every lash has its own timeline. So if you notice a few lashes falling out, it’s all part of the cycle! 🍁✨
Just like these gorgeous autumn leaves, your lashes will come back, fresh and ready for the next season! 🌟

As many of you may know the lash industry in Saskatchewan is unregulated, which means that the information that we are provided with likley does not come directly from an optometrist.
I have been searching for a forward thinking optometrist that would be willing to work with me by providing their wealth of knowledge and guidance throughout the eyelash extension process. This will ensure that client’s eye health is first and foremost.
Dr. Knezacek hasworked in several clinics in Saskatchewan (Yorkton, Melville, Regina, Moose Jaw, and Weyburn). He also provided low vision services for the CNIB Low Vision Clinic during that time.
He is currently a partner in Family Eye Care Center in Regina and also founded the Esterhazy Optometry Clinic in 2002. Dr Knezacek also serves on the council for the Saskatchewan Association of Optometrist
