This is a bittersweet post to make but it’s not good bye it’s on to the next chapter for grey sage and we are only down the street ❤️ so as I clean the floors, shut off the lights, and walk down those stairs and locked the door for the last time, I can’t help but feel emotional knowing this is where it all started. Four years ago I stepped into this beautiful brick building in the warehouse district with a dream, every dollar I had saved, and absolutely no idea what I was truly getting myself into. No loans, no handouts, just hard work, long hours, and determination.

This salon became my very first home. The first space that was ever truly mine. I laughed here, cried here, stressed here, celebrated here, and grew here in more ways than I can explain.

I went into business thinking it would be easy. I was wrong about that.

This place taught me so much about business, people, and myself. It taught me how resilient I really am, especially when life threw unexpected things my way. Even getting my 30-day letter reminded me that no matter what happens, I’ll always figure it out.

This building wasn’t perfect. It was freezing in the winter, hot in the summer, and those stairs drove us all insane but it was beautiful to me. So many memories were made inside these walls and so many amazing people walked through these doors. We leave out space as a family some new some old but ready to go together with a fresh start

Goodbye old friend and to the place that built me first. 🤍
