Hmmmm....I wonder what it could be? 🦌 Fingers crossed it is what I think it is.

I love Halloween, but your skincare doesn't have to be scary! There are soo many bad and unhealthy habits that can lead to unhealth skin. Let digest the picture below.

1. Do not pick your zits! I know, easier said than done, but picking your zits will cause scaring. Trust me...I know! Try our Bye Bye Blemish to combat blemishes.

2. Regular exfoliation whether chemical or physicals, its an important part of a skin care regime. Over-exfoliation can lead to redness, irritation and it may leave your skin worse than what you started with. Either Buff Stuff or Sunny and Char are two great Tiber exfoliants.

3. No SPF...this is the scariest 😱. My full job is working in cancer care, by simply wearing sun screen you can protect your skins appearance, prevents sunburn, skin cancer and premature aging. Yes, even in the winter! Tiber does not have sunscreen products, but Supergoop! Unseen sunscreen has been my go-to.

4. The ingredients in our makeup can definitely affect our skin. Make sure to use products that are noncomedogenic which means it was developed not to clog pores or cause breakouts. If you wear a lot of makeup, I'd recommend double cleansing. The first cleanser will break down any makeup, remove dirt and excess oils from the day. The second cleanser will address your particular skin type or concern to either hydrate, smooth, exfoliate or treat. Tiber has some great cleansers and a pre-cleansing oil.

5. You spend a third of your life in bed and bacteria loves a good unwashed pillow case or sheet. Ideally, you should wash your bedding weekly or at least every other week. I wash mine weekly because of the products that I use on my face at night time.

6. Just like pillowcases, your makeup brushes can harbor bacteria. To protect your skin and reduce bacteria, you should clean or wash your brushes every 7 to 10 days. I've used both Tiber's In your Face Cleanser or Sephora's Daily Brush Cleaner which is a spray.
