This past week has been one of the hardest I have experienced in my life.
March 20th, I lost one of my closest friends; Lisa Bradley-Shannon.
Then on March 24th, Paisley was diagnosed with cancer and had emergency surgery Thursday. She is recovering. Thank you for the prayers, support and love during this difficult time.
Lisa and I met in hair school and during the past 18 years we have shared memories I will forever cherish.

Her Eulogy;
When you read Lisa’s Obituary; there is nothing that was missed.
Stubbornness; check! How many times we would fight… In the middle of an argument, she would just stop and say “I luv ya, ya old bag” and then cackle. Leaving me in complete “awe and confusion”.

She was also the life of the party. I had the pleasure in translating Lisa to other people while she lived in Saskatchewan. I mostly guessed and said. “She’s having a lovely time”. She thought it was the funniest thing. Her laugh was contagious. Am I right?

She was also the most loyal friend. And she knew what to say to build you up when you’re feeling at your lowest. “Give them hell Steele. Ya old bag” followed by that signature laugh.

In the last 18 years we opened and closed many chapters of love and losses. We didn’t see much of each other in the last little while. Around this time last year, you reached out and that conversation, will forever be a true reflection on what a good maid does for another.
I’m going to miss you calling me c***y eyes, muckle face and duckie. I’ll probably never be able to hear “where ya at” without crying.
I love you and I’ll see you on the other side. Rest in Peace Bradley.
