LASER HAIR REMOVAL: HOW DOES IT WORK? ✨
The Darwin LUVO device delivers controlled light energy that is absorbed by pigment in the hair follicle. This energy helps impair the follicle’s ability to produce new hair, leading to gradual, long-term hair reduction.
Because hair grows in different cycles, only follicles in the active growth phase can be effectively targeted during each appointment. This is why a series of treatments—spaced several weeks apart—is typically required.
Before treatment:
• Avoid waxing, plucking or threading
• Shave the area as instructed
• Limit sun exposure and avoid self-tanner
• Tell your provider about medications and recent skin changes
After treatment, temporary redness, warmth or mild sensitivity may occur. Protecting the area from sun exposure and following your provider’s aftercare instructions are important.
Results, treatment schedules and suitability vary depending on hair colour, skin tone, treatment area, hormones and individual response. A consultation and skin assessment help determine whether laser hair removal is appropriate for you.
