✨ A Little More About Nicolette (Nicki) ✨

You’ve already met Nicki, now let’s get to know her a little better! 💕 We asked her a few fun questions about her favourite services, personal style, and something you might not expect.

What’s your favourite service to do?
Lash extensions! I love how versatile they are- from subtle and natural to bold and wispy, there’s a style for everyone. You also get instant results, which is so satisfying. And for me, the process is relaxing; I can tune out the outside world and really focus on what I’m doing.

What would your perfect nail set look like?
As much as I love creating crazy nail art, my own go-to is usually a medium-length almond shape in soft pink, fluorescent pink, or fluorescent orange. And when I’m feeling fancy, I love a n**e base with abstract nail art and little accents of gold foil. ✨💅

What’s something people might be surprised to learn about you?
I was a huge band geek growing up! 🎶 At different points I played the clarinet, flute, and even the French horn for a short time, but my main instrument was the oboe!

Meet Nicolette “Nicki”.

A born-and-raised Regina girl, Nicki has spent more than 12 years in the beauty industry, with the last 9 focused heavily on nails and lashes. But one of her first loves has always been skincare — and she’s excited to bring more of that back into her chair.

What we love most about Nicki is the kind of experience she wants to create. Come in for the conversation, the laughs, the creativity, or the quiet. Her goal is simple: for you to feel comfortable, cared for, and a little more confident when you leave.

After working independently for some time, Nicki is ready for salon life again — the team, the energy, the learning, and the community that comes with it.

Her first day is Saturday, and we’re so happy to have her at Miyosiwin. 💜
