​And no, I’m not asking you to live in a dark cave for two weeks before or after your appointment! I’m just asking for some consistency. Think of your SPF as the secret ingredient to your treatment’s success, it keeps your skin calm, resilient, and ready for that perfect result.

​🧴 The "SPF Done Right" Checklist

​To make sure you're getting the full protection you’re paying for, here are the non-negotiables:

​The 40+ Rule: Always reach for an SPF of 40 or higher.

​The 15-Minute Rule: Apply 15 minutes before you head out to let that protective shield set.

​Be Generous: Apply it evenly to your face, neck, and chest. Don’t be shy with it!

​The 2-Hour Refresh: If you’re out, reapply every two hours (or right after swimming/sweating).

​The 2-Minute Wait: If you wear makeup, let your SPF soak in for 2–3 minutes before applying foundation.

​Seek Shade and Wear a Hat: Sunscreen is most effective when paired with physical protection. Stay in the shade and wear a hat whenever possible to minimize direct UV exposure.

​Consistency is Key

​These aren't just for your appointment day, they are the gold standard for daily skin health. I ask that you follow these protocols all year round, but they are especially critical two weeks before and two weeks after your treatment. By keeping these habits consistent, you’re ensuring your results are protected and you’re getting the most out of every session at the clinic.

Detective Sergeant Harris (Lead investigator) is at Renfrew Medical Esthetics gathering information from Leo Mancini (The Night Manager) to try to crack the case of who done it in the murder of Tony Diamante!

Head downtown Renfrew to Lows square to start your own investigation! Visit all of the business and question all the characters! Can you solve the mystery? The event is on till 8pm!
