I grew up watching Fast & Furious, playing Need for Speed, and dreaming about cars I never thought Iād actually get to experience.
At 30, I got my hands on one of my dream carsā¦
But this weekend? I got to experience something I NEVER imagined I would.
I showed up and barely had time to even decide if I was going to do it. All I could hear was the sound of engines screaming, tires burning and the smell of smoke.
Next thing I knowā¦ Iām in the passenger seat of an RX-7, sideways. šļøšØ
The adrenaline.
The sound.
The smoke.
The absolute chaos.
It was INSANE.
And honestlyā¦ Tokyo Drift was NOTHING like this. š

Back again styling the hair for JONITA & Anirudh and the entire band ā and this time, we brought the whole team energy. š„
I did the hairstyling, and Somayeh Borhani did the makeup, and together we got to be part of another incredible show and unforgettable experience.
What a team.
What a show.
What a night.

They saw a woman with clippers.
God saw the vision.
15 years ago, I couldnāt have imagined where this passion would take me.
I just knew I loved creating.
I loved making people feel good.
I loved the craft.
But God saw the bigger picture long before I did.
Thank you, God, for the vision.
For the passion.
For the strength to keep going.
For every opportunity to grow.
And most importantly, for allowing me to make an impact along the way.
15 years of cutting hairā¦
but so much more than that.
15 years of breaking stereotypes.
15 years of building.
15 years of learning.
15 years of mentoring.
15 years of becoming.
And if thereās one thing I know now, itās this:
The vision was never just about becoming a better barber.
It was about becoming someone who could help others believe in whatās possible for them, too.
15 years in.
And Iām still just getting started. āļøš¤
God gave me the vision.
Iām just grateful He trusted me to bring it to life.

The Little Girl Who Loved Music š¶
When I was around 10 years old, I wanted to be a singer.
I would sing at my elementary school, in church, showcases, anywhere I had the chance. Iāll never forget the day my music teacher asked me to sing in front of my entire Grade 6 class at St. Patrickās. My face turned SO red I honestly felt like someone could cook an egg on it. š
I was embarrassed, nervous, and completely exposedā¦ but I kept singing.
I learned to play piano and sing alongside my sister Ashley, and playing piano became one of the most beautiful hobbies I ever incorporated into my life. It became a part of me and something I know will always be with me.
Music has always been such a huge part of my life. So much of my inspiration, creativity, emotion and even the way I express myself comes from music.
My dad played instruments and introduced me to the music of the ā70s and ā80s, and Iām so grateful he gave me that part of my childhood. Those songs became memories, and those memories became a soundtrack to my life.
And now, all these years later, I still sing.
I sing for my clients š
I sing for myself.
I sing when Iām happy.
When Iām being weird in front my staff š
I sing when Iām sad.
I sing when I need to feel something.
I may not have become the singer that little girl imagined she would beā¦
But I never stopped being the girl who loved to sing. ā¤ļø
And maybe thatās the beautiful partā¦sometimes the dreams we have as children donāt disappear. They simply find a different way to live through us. š¶
