That’s a wrap TIFF 2026! Red carpets, premieres, screenings. The team did it all this year and I can’t be more proud and happy to be party of the city’s most iconic week!

Getting married during TIFF week? (September 10th - 20th) Take note!

→ Book your hotel blocks early. Downtown rooms fill up FAST during TIFF.

→ Check your venue + photo shoot locations against TIFF events. A red carpet, premiere or road closure nearby can completely change how busy an area is.

→ Reserve your restaurants early. Rehearsal dinner? Family dinner? Post-wedding brunch? Don’t leave those reservations until the last minute.

→ Book your vendors early. It’s not just wedding season — there are also TIFF events, shoots and clients looking for hair, makeup, photographers and other vendors.

→ Think about your guests. If they’re coming from out of town, give them a heads-up that it’s TIFF week so they can book accommodations early too.

Getting married during one of Toronto’s busiest (and most glamorous 💅) weeks just needs a little extra planning.

And while the city might be full of celebrities… you’re still the main event.

Big bridal parties are one of the reasons having an experienced beauty team makes such a difference.
Once upon a time, if you had 4 services, I’d try to send 4 artists 😂 Even on a Saturday at 9 AM. And then I’d be STRESSED trying to assign 4 artists when everyone was already booked.
I’ve come a long way since then 😂
Over the years, I’ve figured out the right artist-to-service ratio so we can keep things efficient without having a million people in your getting-ready space.
Now when you use our booking calculator, you tell us how many hair and makeup services you need and what time everyone needs to be ready by. The calculator does the rest — it works backwards from your get-ready time and shows you how many artists are needed and what time your appointment would need to start.
One thing I’ve changed? I’d rather stretch the appointment a little longer.
Instead of sending 6 artists so 3 girls can get hair + makeup done in one hour, I’d rather send 2 pros and give you 3 hours.
Less chaos. More consistency. More time to actually enjoy getting ready.
