This is why I’m obsessed with LED lash adhesive.

I’ve had this client for a couple years, so I know what her normal retention looks like. Before I switched to LED, she’d come in at 2 weeks with just a few fans hanging on for dear life.
These pictures? 3 WEEKS. 3! 🤯

Sure, there are a couple little gaps, but look at all those fans still there! Most of what needs filling are lashes that have simply grown out, not fallen off.

Safe to say, I don’t think I’ll ever be switching back. 😍

Yesterday was a reminder of how quickly the weather and life can change.

My heart 💗 goes out to everyone affected by the tornado, massive hail and winds. I know many families are facing damage and cleanup today. I’m incredibly grateful for the first responders, community members turned first responders, volunteers and neighbours who have stepped up to help.

If you have an appointment with me in the coming days and have been impacted by the storm, please don’t hesitate to reach out. I completely understand if plans need to change, we’ll find another time once the dust has settled.

Please continue to check in on your loved ones and neighbours. Our community is strongest when we come together, and I know we’ll get through this too!

After a couple phone calls here’s what I know.

There is planned construction happening on 49th Street from the intersection at 49th avenue (our street) south to the intersection at 48th Avenue (across from West of the 5th Financial).

49th Street from 49th Ave to 48th Ave will be closed for the summer and construction is scheduled to wrap up the end of September 2026.

The work in front of our building was a last minute addition and all 4 of us were missed during the notification process. It does not impact the street directly in front of our building but the street along the north side of the Healing Outpost will be affected.

The disruption to us should be minor but will result in our water being shut off tomorrow (July 16th) and other potential road closures throughout the summer.

Walking access to our front door will not be disrupted during this time. The parking lot to the west of us has been opened for public use during the work, with the Secrets parking lot also being open for use.

Currently the town only requires a 24 hour notice to businesses of any water disruption hence the short notice of the water shut off on July 16th.

This is frustrating for us on many levels and has caught us off guard. We had heard rumours of the work on 49th Street but nothing official.

We ask for your patience through the summer. Please allow yourself extra time for traffic disruptions, struggling to find parking and having to walk a further distance than normal to get to our building.

Update! I’ve been given notice that we will be without water tomorrow. Unfortunately due to AHS regulations I cannot take clients without running water so I will have to reschedule all clients for tomorrow July 16th. I will be reaching out to everyone momentarily.

Unbeknownst to us the town of Town of Rocky Mountain House, Alberta has closed our street for construction.
Our parking lot is blocked off, as well as the street out front.
At this time we are unsure of work being done or timelines to reopen.
