UPDATE: So my first week of training for a new career is complete. SUCCESS! My heart was sooo heavy last week and to be honest, full of serious moments of self-doubt. I was challenged and tested in ways I never thought imaginable. But, I replaced my "self-doubt" with "confidence" and I replaced my "anxiety" with "faith" and I am pleased to announce that I accomplished my mission! I have a renewed sence of confidence and Thank you to everyone who supports me through this change of life. I feel your love! My exit was a bit more abrupt than I anticipated and still have calls to make to clients. Sorry if I missed anyone..... ANNOUNCEMENT:
It is with great sadness and heavy heart that I write this post to announce my decision to leave the hair industry. As many of you already are aware, I have experienced many changes over the course of this year. Health and Family Needs are the biggest motivators for this decision. I have found it very hard to recover from the physical demands on my body that this job entails. I experience a lot of pain from arthritis in my feet & hands & shoulders which I am stuggling to get under control. My family needs require me to work full time hours and I know that my body will just not allow me to be on my feet doing hair full-time. I don’t often express this pain in client settings… as I take great pride in serving my clients and making your time with us “all about you”. So this exit may seem abrupt to some of you but it is not a hasty decision on my behalf. As Summer was drawing to a close, I knew change was necessary. I started a search for full-time work earlier this Summer and was VERY surprised to very quickly find a great match for my skills at Cloud5 Communications, starting Sept 11th. I really hoped to have more time to address everything with my clients and wished my exit was not so abrupt. However, I have peace about my decision. I am working closely with Juliann Guitard (Owner of Pure Organic) to find suitable placements for all of my clientelle. You are my FIRST priority in making this transition as smooth as possbible. I hope to keep all my clientelle intact with Pure Organic Hair Studio. I trust Julliann’s judgment to serve you all with the same care and respect as I do. A replacement for my hair position is in the works; meanwhile, Juliann will be opening up some additional hours to accommodate my clients. I will contact everyone directly that has appointments booked out over the next 6 weeks and I will do my best to keep your same appointment times. If you do not already have an appointment booked on Schedulicity within the next 6 week, please Call/Text Juliann at 653-8293 or PM through the Pure Organic page. I will send everyone an invite to Pure Organic page so you can Like/Follow to stay up to date on everything.
