You've probably seen jaw slimming described like it works on everyone. It doesn't.
A wider lower face comes from three different places. A strong chewing muscle, built up over years of clenching or grinding. Your actual bone structure. Or soft tissue fullness that sits over both.
Only the first one responds to a muscle-relaxing treatment. Relax the muscle, it shrinks from resting, and the jaw softens over a few months. If the width is bone, no injectable is going to change it. If it's fat, relaxing the muscle won't touch it either.
Plenty of people are a mix of two, which is exactly why nobody can tell you from a photo.

The pigment that surfaced over August didn't appear overnight. It was triggered weeks earlier and is only becoming visible as your tan fades. Same with the redness and the rough texture that wasn't there in spring.

Day three is when people panic.
