Synchrogen skin rejuvenation and Eminence organic skin care
We divide the body into areas because treatment requires us to.
Face. Arms. Legs. Individual sections.
But the body itself may not always respond according to the boundaries we draw.
During MPR body treatments, I began noticing something interesting: after treating one limb, the matching untreated limb was often already warm when I reached it.
And during body treatment, I would sometimes see a response in the face as well.
I think itโs worth noticing.

The body knows itโs connected.
Sometimes the most interesting things I learn happen quietly in the treatment room.
When I use MPR on the body, there is a warm-up period before an area reaches the temperature I use for treatment.
But I began noticing something.
After treating one limb, I would move to the matching limb โ and it was often already at treatment temperature.
I hadnโt treated it yet.
Even more interestingly, during body treatments I frequently notice a response in the face as well.
Yet when I work on the face alone, that response appears to remain much more localized to the face.
Why?
The body has circulatory, neurological, metabolic and thermoregulatory systems capable of communicating far beyond the exact place we happen to be treating. Which of those mechanisms โ or combination of mechanisms โ accounts for what Iโm seeing is a different question.
And I think that distinction matters.
After more than three decades of working with faces and bodies, I still find it fascinating when the body does something that makes me stop and pay closer attention.
Different areas.
Same person.
And perhaps a reminder that the lines we draw between โfaceโ and โbodyโ are much clearer on a treatment menu than they are to the human body.

โYour mom goes there for facials. You go there for acne?โ
A conversation with a teenager recently made me think about something I probably take for granted.
Young people donโt necessarily know that I treat young people.
Fair enough.
When much of what you see from Masterpiece is facial rejuvenation, longevity and women who have been taking care of their skin for decades, it would be easy to assume that younger skin belongs somewhere else.
It doesnโt.
The concerns may be different. Acne. Oil production. Congestion. Inflammation. A changing skin barrier. And increasingly, trying to figure out which piece of skincare advice on social media is actually worth listening to.
But the principle is exactly the same.
Understand the skin in front of you.
Donโt punish it because it is misbehaving. Donโt throw every trending ingredient at it. And donโt assume that aggressive treatment automatically means better treatment.
Some of the young people I see came because their mother already comes here.
I rather like that.
Mom trusts me with the face she has been caring for for decades. Her son or daughter arrives with an entirely different skin concern, an entirely different perspective, and usually a few very good questions.
Different generation.
Different skin.

What if hydration had a landscape?
Snow Mushroom has an extraordinary ability to hold water, which is why it has become such an interesting ingredient in modern skincare.
But tonight, I thought weโd look at it a little differently.
From the delicate folds of the mushroom to the surface of the skin, moisture changes how we see texture, softness and light.
Sometimes understanding an ingredient begins by looking closely at the world it came from.

๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐ ๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐ ๐๐ ๐๐ ๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐? ๐
Several clients have asked me recently what makes ๐๐ง๐จ๐ฐ ๐๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ก๐ซ๐จ๐จ๐ฆ ๐๐จ๐ข๐ฌ๐ญ๐ฎ๐ซ๐ ๐๐ฅ๐จ๐ฎ๐ ๐๐ฒ๐ ๐๐ซ๐๐๐ฆ different, and the answer begins with its namesake ingredient.
Snow mushroom, or Tremella fuciformis, is a remarkable jelly-like mushroom naturally rich in ๐ฉ๐จ๐ฅ๐ฒ๐ฌ๐๐๐๐ก๐๐ซ๐ข๐๐๐ฌ, molecules with an impressive ability to interact with and retain water.
And around the eyes, water matters.
The skin there is thin and delicate, with less natural cushioning than many other areas of the face. When it becomes dehydrated, fine lines can appear more pronounced and the entire eye area can look a little less rested.
This is where I think the name โMoisture Cloudโ is particularly fitting.
Rather than thinking of hydration as simply putting something wet on the skin, think of ingredients that help create an environment where water is better held and supported at the skinโs surface.
Snow mushroom isnโt a new invention created for the beauty industry. It has a much longer history of use in East Asian traditions. Modern skincare has simply found another reason to be interested in it.
And thatโs one of my favourite things about ingredients:
Sometimes the most interesting innovations arenโt new at all.

You saw it on Instagram. But is it true?
A teenager asked me this week whether squeezing a pimple can actually cause nerve damage.
The short answer: social media has made the story considerably more dramatic than it needs to be.
There are good reasons not to squeeze, pick or repeatedly manipulate an inflamed blemish. Pressure and trauma can increase inflammation, damage the surrounding tissue, push material deeper into the skin and increase the likelihood of prolonged redness, pigmentation or scarring.
And yes, there is an area in the centre of the face sometimes called the โdanger triangle,โ where the anatomy of the veins makes serious complications from infection possible.
Possible, however, is very different from telling teenagers that squeezing a pimple is likely to cause nerve damage.
That isnโt a useful way to teach skin health.
My advice is much less frightening: respect inflammation.
If something is swollen, painful or deeply inflamed, your skin is already asking you to leave it alone. Calm it. Protect the barrier. Treat the cause. And if acne is persistent, painful or beginning to scar, get some professional guidance rather than letting Instagram decide what happens next.
Teenagers are seeing an extraordinary amount of skincare information now.
Iโd much rather they ask the question than quietly believe the video.

๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐
There are thousands of skincare ingredients available to us.
Some become trends. Some disappear. And every year, something new arrives promising to change everything.
Then there are ingredients I keep coming back to.
Copper peptides are small copper-binding molecules that have attracted scientific interest for decades because of their relationship with processes involved in
That doesnโt mean a serum magically rebuilds your face.
It means weโre working with an ingredient whose story is much more interesting than the latest beauty trend.
In the รminence Copper Tripeptide Serum, that peptide technology is paired with ๐ซ๐๐ฌ๐ฏ๐๐ซ๐๐ญ๐ซ๐จ๐ฅ ๐๐ง๐ ๐๐ง๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ฑ๐ข๐๐๐ง๐ญ-๐ซ๐ข๐๐ก ๐๐จ๐ญ๐๐ง๐ข๐๐๐ฅ๐ฌ, creating a formula I particularly like for supporting the appearance of healthy, resilient, luminous skin.
And perhaps the most useful test of an ingredient isnโt how exciting it sounds when it launches.
Itโs whether you still value it after the excitement is gone.
I try new products.
I study new ingredients.
I change my mind when something better comes along.
But Copper Tripeptide keeps finding its way back into my recommendations โ and onto my own skin.

Longevity is not the absence of change.
It is the ability to keep adapting to it.
An ancient olive tree survives because it does not remain exactly as it was. It responds to drought, weather, damage, new growth, changing seasons and time itself.
The same is true of us.
Skin changes.
Hormones change.
Muscle changes.
Recovery changes.
What worked beautifully at 35 may not be what the body needs at 55, 65 or 75.
That does not mean something has gone wrong.
It means the conversation has changed.
I have always believed good aesthetic care should be able to change with the person in front of me rather than forcing every face through the same protocol.
Sometimes we stimulate.
Sometimes we strengthen.
Sometimes we restore.
Sometimes the wisest thing is simply to support what the body is already trying to do.
Because resilience is not about resisting time.
