Geertika co-founded Nurtured Youth Community, a community organization where the purpose is to connect minors who are experiencing unsupportive relationships with parents/guardians to resources that will assist in supporting their situations. After witnessing firsthand the trouble close friends faced when attempting to contact and communicate with Social Services, Geertika knew she needed to start something that helped with this abuse behind close doors. The aim of this project is to bridge the accessibility gap to therapists and counselors by hosting free opportunities to listen to educated speakers. The will help with workshop hosting related costs and expansion of services, helping to provide healing for those faced with generational trauma. 👏

rose.s - Girls SySTEM Mentorship] is one step closer at a chance to WIN $5,000 in support from OXY® - the confident choice in acne solutions. 💙

Gabriella felt discouraged by the persisting gender gap within Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) programs that supported women and other underrepresented groups. She joined Girl SySTEM Mentorship, a program that provides a space for encouragement, which many young girls with an interest in science go without. GSM provides a space that inspires students to challenge their curiosities, discover new passions, and build technical skills. They aim to increase diversity in the STEM workforce by pairing students in grades 7-12 with professional mentors from a diverse range of fields.

The will support educational materials and equipment to support the their programs, workshops and scholarships for the next generation of STEM innovators.

- Pollinator Man (the WILDCARD WINNER) is one step closer at a chance to WIN $5,000 in support from OXY® - the confident choice in acne solutions. 💙

Pollinator Man is a children's book created by Ashoke to teach children the importance of pollination. Pollinator Man uses his powers to protect our environment from dangers such as climate change, pesticides, and deforestation.  As a first-generation Canadian, Ashoke had the expectation from his community to became a stereotypical doctor, engineer, or lawyer. Becoming man Environmental Scientist, he wants Pollinator Man’s message to also address how toxic masculinity has affected male attitudes and behavior towards the environment. The goal is to inspire the next generation of ecologists, conservationists, and environmentalists and to show the world that “caring is cool”.

The will help grow the brand to continue to raise awareness about the importance of protecting pollinators and encouraging youth to engage with nature. 👏

Anya co-founded The Canadian Courage Project (CCP), Canada’s first non-profit designed to fill the gaps in the shelter system by supporting the mental health of youth aged 15-24 who own animal companions. CCP helps those in need transition out of shelters and into independent housing. Many individuals facing homelessness are not able find shelters that offer support for their pets, leading to owner surrenders at animal shelters. CCP focuses on both Education & Empowerment and Shelter Relations. Anya has supported 75,000+ GTA youth through workshops! The will help expand impact to more underserved youth by allowing CCP to host more workshops and increase the number and quality of wellness kits they provide! 👏⁠
