My lovely client wasn’t loving her now grey eyebrows, microbladed elsewhere, but, I do love a challenge, and who doesn’t love a glow up..? Microblading wasn’t the right treatment for this type of skin, and the pigment was organic, and also not suited for thin, mature skin, leaving behind an undesirable, ashy grey colour. After consulting with my client, we opted to correct the colour, and create a more beautiful shape. This is just round one. At touch up, I will adjust accordingly. Correction work never has a one-size fits all approach. Also important to know that correction is not always possible, but there are other solutions, like removal available. Not sure what to do? My lovely client came to have her big, bold liner refreshed after 4 years. We did upper and lower, and as per her request, I made it even thicker than her first application. Eyeliners can be designed however you like, there is no ‘one size fits all’ approach. What I do recommend, is that your liner mimic your everyday look, as it will clearly be with you for quite some time! Remember, topical makeup can always be superimposed over your PMU, for special occasions, so simple is always best ❤️ How do you like your eyeliner? Comment below!

Resisting the urge to edit and filter these photos in the name of education… This is a cover up of an ‘oopsie’ brow, not done by me. Client had these tattooed at a tattoo parlour, immediately regretted her choice, and did all she could to make sure they didn’t heal properly. They were significantly faded, but an undesirable colour, tone, and shape. Colour correction of the offensive area was required, and a new brow shape was designed around it. Initially, this looks incredibly warm in the areas that were not neutralized, however this will settle down into a more neutral, light-medium brown, and appear more homogenous with her existing work. At touch up, I will assess the healed result, and top up accordingly. Bad brows don’t have to be the end of the world. Whether removal or correction is required, I’ve got you!

Beautiful shaded eyeliner for my lovely client. We opted to blast black along the lashline for definition and the illusion of a lusher lashline, and then add a soft brown to provide a soft shadow for depth. Because my client was showing some signs of trauma, I elected to stop at this point, knowing that I can add more at touch up appointment. There’s no sense overworking the skin at this point, as it could result in:

a) poor healing and retention
b) discomfort for the client! I’m here to help, not hurt!
