This event has been a wonderful success! Final run time was 2 hours and 30 minutes, and between online and cash pledges, we raised $605 for the Niagara Nutrition Partners program at Community Care. I have decided to REVERSE the direction of the run on Saturday. Same route, but running east from Beamsville to St. Catharines. I am pretty sure that I won’t want to move my legs much afterward, so this way I can plant myself on my back patio and not move for a few hours!

More training today! We ran 17.4 km around the 12-mile creek area, including running across and under the Burgoyne Bridge, as well as the foot bridge below.

Yesterday, I did some more training on the Merritt Trail, which provided lovely views of some of the waterways in St. Catharines. Only 2 weeks to go!
