A good rule of thumb: open a fresh Vitamin C serum every 30 days.
One easy way to tell it's time for a replacement? Color. Fresh Vitamin C should be clear to pale yellow. As it oxidizes, it deepens to orange or brown, signaling that the formula is no longer performing at its best.
