My June schedule is almost fully booked, especially for longer services such as pedicures, facials, and multi-service appointments.

If you've been thinking about booking, now would be a great time to reserve your spot. I also recommend booking 2 appointments ahead whenever possible so you can secure the dates and times that work best for you.

July is already filling up quickly as well, and I would hate for anyone to miss out on their preferred appointment time.

✨ Laser Hair Removal Update ✨

Hi everyone!

We've updated our laser pricing online. It may look like prices have increased, but that's not actually the case—we've simply removed package options.

We found that every client responds differently to laser treatments. Some people may achieve their desired results in 6 sessions, while others may need 9 or more. Rather than having clients purchase a package that may not match their needs, we've switched to a pay-as-you-go approach so you only pay for the treatments you actually need. If you had a package with us before, your price will not change 😊

📌 Please note: If you've never had laser treatments with us before, even if you've had laser elsewhere, you must book a FREE consultation and patch test before your first treatment. This helps us determine the safest and most effective settings for your skin and hair type and ensures there are no adverse reactions. It also means you won't spend your first treatment session figuring out settings.

Even if you've had laser with us before, a patch test is still required when treating a new area.

Our diode laser gradually heats the hair follicles, making treatments very comfortable while still being highly effective. Most clients find it feels cool and comfortable rather than painful, and diode technology typically requires fewer treatments than many other laser systems.

⏰ Another important update: laser sessions are spaced out appropriately to give you the best possible results while keeping treatments affordable.

Typical treatment intervals are:
• Face: every 4–6 weeks
• Underarms & Brazilian: every 6–8 weeks
• Body areas: every 8–12 weeks

As your treatments progress and hair growth slows down, appointments are often spaced even further apart. This means you're not coming in more often than necessary and are only booking treatments when they're most effective.

💜 Also, a quick update: Stephanie is currently at capacity and unable to accept new laser clients at this time. If you'd like to see her in the future, feel free to send her a message and ask to be added to her waitlist. Melissa added Tuesdays so although places is limited, new clients are welcomed and returning of course.

*Clarification Regarding Gift Cards & Independent Service Providers*

I wanted to touch base because after today’s message, we spent the day answering questions and concerns.

First, I completely understand why some people felt upset or caught off guard. If you know me, you know I truly try my best to work with everyone. At Ilume, our clients are family to us.

What was difficult today was seeing some disrespect directed toward members of our team and myself. We completely understand concerns and questions, and we are always happy to help. We simply ask for kindness and respect in return.

The reason for the announcement was simply to keep clients informed moving forward. Since Stephanie and Kendall are now operating independently, they are no longer able to accept Ilume gift cards, WaySpa gift cards, or WaySpa credit. However, nothing changes when it comes to booking with them or reaching out directly.

If you feel uncomfortable seeing another provider, please reach out to me personally. I understand that clients build trust and comfort with specific providers, and I will always do my best to work with you fairly.

This does NOT affect services booked with myself or Sam R. We are still happily honoring all Ilume gift cards, WaySpa gift cards, and in-store credits for services and products at Ilume 🤍

I also wanted to remind everyone that in the beauty industry, providers sometimes grow independently or change business structures over time. Gift cards are generally tied to the business itself and cannot always be guaranteed to one specific provider forever.

Lastly, many people don’t realize that WaySpa takes a significant percentage from services. When independent providers accept those gift cards, the spa still absorbs part of the cost, which unfortunately isn’t sustainable long term.

However, Sam and I will continue accepting them until the end of the year. After that, we may revisit the program or create an alternative that offers similar savings.

You’ll receive a form to fill out online before your appointment.

For our existing laser clients:
If you’ve already completed a paper form, there’s no need to fill it out again.
If you’d like to help us move everything online, you can book the “Existing Client Form” option under laser and complete it digitally.
No pressure at all—eventually, all forms will be moved online.

Our goal is to have everything securely saved under your profile so we can go fully paperless 🌿

Our new laser has officially arrived! We’re taking some time this week to get fully trained and familiar with the new technology so we can provide the best and safest treatments possible. We will begin reaching out to clients over the next couple of weeks to start booking appointments.

Independent artists🦄
As many of you know, Stephanie and Kendall will now be independent artists at Ilume. Because of this, we will have a slight menu update as well as some pricing changes.

➡️ New pricing will take effect May 1st (please note some adjustments may still happen this week).

➡️ For laser services, we will now be offering single-session pricing only and will no longer be offering packages.

➡️ Starting May 1st, Stephanie and Kendall will no longer be accepting Ilume or WaySpa gift cards. Melissa and Sam will still continue accepting them as usual.

As many of you know, Ilume has had the same amazing team since the beginning. We’ve always been about growth and doing whatever we can to support each team member in reaching their career goals.

We also understand that some clients may have gift cards intended for a specific provider. Please feel free to reach out to us, and we’ll help you navigate the best way to proceed.

Melissa and Sam will also continue to accept WaySpa gift cards. However, our independent providers will no longer be able to accept them.

This wasn’t an easy decision, but it’s the fairest approach for our independent renters.
