We are so happy to welcome Cara to the Ladori team!

Cara comes to us with a background that's a little different from the usual path, and we think that's what makes her so special. Following the start of her career as a stylist, Cara spent years building a career in education and counselling, and that experience shaped the way she shows up with clients: present, genuinely listening, and focused on what you actually need. Through it all, she never stopped missing the hands-on, personal side of hair.

She came back to hair because she loves it, and honestly, we're glad she did.

Cara has a particular passion for short and layered cuts, and her approach is rooted in working with your hair's natural movement rather than against it. The goal is always a style that fits your life, grows in beautifully, and feels like you. And if you've been looking for someone with truly exceptional hands during a scalp massage, her clients' reviews speak for themselves.

Cara is currently in the studio on Wednesdays and accepting new clients for cuts and blowouts, and is completing her training to offer our full range of scalp services soon!

A closer look at what “buildup” can actually look like 👀 Sometimes your scalp can feel oily, itchy, heavy, flaky, or like your hair just isn’t staying fresh for very long, but it can be hard to know what’s really going on until you take a closer look.

With our Scalp Reset service, we use a scalp scope to take a closer look before and after your service, then customize the cleanse and treatment based on what we’re seeing.
