The past few weeks have brought some unexpected changes for us.

Due to circumstances completely outside of our control, the space we were planning to open in, didn’t come together as we had expected, and we’ve had to shift gears quickly. As a result, Terry and Mikayla have decided to move forward individually with a lot of respect, care, and gratitude for the experience shared.

As we wrap up our final day at Goldfingers, we’re doing so with full hearts. This space has held so many beautiful moments this past year, and we’re incredibly thankful for every client who walked through these doors, supported us, and trusted us with their care.

What’s next:
• Terry will be continuing to do nails and aesthetics in her own space as well as mobile services
• Mikayla will be finding a new space to land and grow from

✨ Happy Birthday to Terry ✨

As this birthday came around it brought a lot of reflection. On life, health, and the pace I’ve been keeping for so many years.

After decades in the beauty world and 10 wonderful years working here in Salmon Arm, it feels like the right time to make a few changes. With some recent health challenges (mine and in my family), and a spectacular new opportunity that will allow me to do a little travelling, I’ve made the decision that Goldfingers will be closing at the end of this year.

This decision didn’t come easily. Building salons and watching them grow over the past years has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my career. The support, love, and friendships that have come through these doors mean more to me than I can ever express. But it’s time for me to slow down a little, take care of my health, and move into a season that feels a bit more peaceful and aligned. 💛

That said, this isn’t goodbye! It’s just a new beginning.

Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for every moment, every conversation, and every bit of support over the years.

Here’s to slowing down, finding peace, and creating beauty in a new way. ✨
