Today I did something I’m always telling my clients to do — I checked in with myself. I asked ChatGPT to analyze me and, funny enough, it confirmed a lot of what I already knew… including that this hair colour is basically my soulmate. 💁🏼‍♀️🔥

But it also reminded me of things I’ve forgotten, rushed past, or gotten too busy to care about. Sometimes we wear blinders when it comes to ourselves.

So today I slowed down.
I softened.
I warmed things up.

Okay babes… I’ve tried so hard to wait for a magical week where this didn’t apply to anyone in particular, but at this point it’s happening almost daily — so here we are. 😅💅

I need payment at the time of your appointment.
I know life happens — trust me, I get it — but I deserve the same courtesy you give Walmart. You don’t walk out with a cart of groceries and say, “I’ll catch you in a few days, girl!” 😂

And unlike Walmart…
I remember your birthday.
I ask how your mama is.
I cry with you about your breakups and your dogs and your stress.
I show up every day and give you 100%, because I love what I do and I love YOU. 💖

But when payments are days or weeks late, it’s disheartening. This isn’t a hobby, and it’s not a charity — it’s my job. It’s how I pay my bills, put food in my fridge, and keep my lip gloss addiction alive. 💁‍♀️✨
It also puts me in an awkward spot having to track people down. Nobody wants to be the Payment Police.

On top of that, I’ve had a lot of last-minute cancellations and no-shows lately. When I block out time for you, that’s time I can’t give to someone else, and it impacts my income — especially on those jam-packed days where every slot counts.

I have all the compassion in the world (y’all know I’m soft 😭), but I also have to take care of myself. I’m struggling too sometimes, and this is my livelihood.

I appreciate every single person who sits in my chair. Truly.
And if this happened recently — especially if it was your first time — please don’t take this personally. I’ve needed to say this for a long time, and I have a handful of repeat offenders that finally pushed me to post.

First off — thank you SO much for continuing to support Crave Beauty Studio and trusting me to keep you looking and feeling your absolute best! 💕 I truly love what I do, and I’m so grateful for each and every one of you who walks through my door.

That said, I’ve had to make a few small updates to help things run more smoothly and ensure everyone gets the attention they deserve 🌟

Recently, there’s been a noticeable increase in last-minute cancellations and no-shows. I completely understand that life happens (we’ve all been there!) — and I’m always happy to give a one-time pass if something comes up. But if it happens two or more times, I will need to require a non-refundable deposit to hold your future appointments. This just helps me stay on schedule and make sure I can continue providing top-quality service for everyone 💗

Also, just a heads-up: if you’ve gone a bit past your usual tightening time and your hair needs extra care to get detangled, a detangling fee will now apply 🪄

And one final reminder: payment for services is due at the time of your appointment 💳💁‍♀️ Thank you for understanding and respecting my time and work!
