The only forest I want to get lost in. 🤗
Not every lash appointment is about adding more lashes.
Today, we removed this client’s lash extensions before her upcoming tattoo eyeliner appointment. 👁️✨
There are several reasons a lash removal may be recommended:
✔️ Before permanent eyeliner procedures
✔️ Before certain surgeries or medical treatments
✔️ When lashes have excessive outgrowth
✔️ When it’s time for a complete style change or fresh start
For this removal, I used Innovation Beauty’s Le Creme remover. It’s gentle, effective, and helped keep my client comfortable throughout the process.
And don’t worry….this isn’t goodbye to lashes. Once her eyeliner is fully healed, she’ll be back for a fresh full set. 💕

Your lash extensions shouldn’t be costing you your natural lashes.

🚩 Sign #1: Premature shedding
If your extensions are falling out attached to your natural lashes sooner than expected, the lashes may be carrying more weight than they can safely support.
🚩 Sign #2: Gaps or damage over time
When lashes are overloaded appointment after appointment, you may start noticing sparse areas, shorter lashes, or lashes that seem weaker than they used to be.
🚩 Sign #3: You can feel them
Lash extensions should feel comfortable. If they feel heavy, pull when you wash them, or you constantly notice them throughout the day, that’s a sign something may not be right.
I’m starting to recommend brow removal more and more often before moving forward with another touch-up. 👀
Especially as we learn more about how older carbon-based pigments behave over time, and how different mineral-based pigments can change the way we approach an existing brow.
Sometimes the best thing we can do for a client’s brows isn’t add more pigment… it’s stop, assess, and create a better plan for what comes next.
I’m talking about why my approach has changed and why I think we need to be having more honest conversations about when a touch-up is actually the right choice. 🤎
