✨ Major Level Up Alert! ✨
Spent this last weekend diving deep into the science of scalp health, and I am walking away inspired, energized, and certified! 🌿💆♀️
I just wrapped up an intensive 3-day seminar with juliArt—an incredible scalp care brand based out of Taiwan. Between the rigorous deep dives into trichology and the intense hands-on experience, it was three non-stop days of learning, but so worth it.
I am now a 🎓 Certified Scalp Care Practitioner through their Hair Care Institute of Trichology. (But the fun doesn't stop there, there's more to come!)
For the better part of my career, I have worked with multiple hairloss systems and continually strive to source the best of the best for my clients. Great hair truly begins at the root and I can’t wait to bring this elevated knowledge, advanced scalp analysis, and tailored care back to you!

Leaving Xyon behind was a hard decision for me as a salon owner + as a stylist. The day I walked into our supplier and saw that it was no longer on the shelves hurt me.
No heads up.
No warning.
Nothing.
Just gone.
It left me feeling stranded and stressed, because what would I tell our clients who have grown to love and depend on this product? I emailed my rep right away to get information on what was happening - and right out of the gate she had a solution and a replacement lined up! 💖
I was nervous to jump into yet another new line, but as they say, out with the old and in with the new!
It's been a lot of learning and absorbing new knowledge this weekend, but I am looking forward to sharing this new brand and updating all of our existing clients and staff on whats to come.
Growth is scary, and to be totally honest - I was terrified to take this leap, but it has the potential to open new doors for my future and the future of Studio Sixty Six.

This post is a month late, sorry 😬. Between planning a wedding, getting married and trying to get back into the swing of things back home - I didn't get the chance to celebrate the salon in all her glory. March 25th marked my THIRD year in business in my commercial space! ✨️🥳
Over the years, you have all shared your stories and everyday life with me behind the chair, so I knew I wanted to do something different to celebrate being in business + give back to the community.
Just before heading on holidays, I received an email from Sheena + Laudimere about their 3rd Annual Project Semicolon event and I knew that this was something I wanted to be a part of.
Instead of doing fancy giveaways or instagram contests, I partnered with them as a Key Sponsor to support Mental Health with the CMHA . This cause hits close to home for me as many of you know my best friend’s story and why mental health advocacy matters so much. 🤍🪽
