Nope! Some days I feel like I barely touch the back.
Today included a mix of treatments for the neck, jaw, face, shoulders, hips, legs, and more—using different techniques and tools depending on what each person needed.
Massage therapy is about treating muscles, improving movement, calming the nervous system, and helping people feel better in their bodies. Some days I barely even touch the back.
Every treatment is different. Every body is different.
And that's the best part!
Facial massage isn’t just skincare… although that’s a pretty great bonus.
When performed by a Registered Massage Therapist, it’s therapeutic massage.
It treats the muscles of the jaw, face, and scalp, supports lymphatic drainage, improves circulation, and helps deeply relax the nervous system.
Considering there are 50+ muscles in the face and scalp, it’s no surprise how much tension can be released.
Treatments also include massage of the back, neck, arms, and hands, creating a deeply relaxing full-body experience.
One client recently said:
"Wow! I felt like I was teleported to the most relaxing place on the planet!"
And yes — it can often be claimed under massage therapy benefits.
Because it’s massage.

Grief lives in the body.
When we grieve, it’s not just emotional.
It shows up as tight shoulders, shallow breathing, jaw clenching, headaches, fatigue, congestion and inflammation, heaviness we can’t quite explain.
Massage doesn’t take grief away.
It doesn’t rush healing or try to “fix” anything.
What it can do is offer:
• a safe place to soften
• a moment where your nervous system can exhale
• gentle support when words feel like too much
Sometimes the most healing thing is simply being cared for without needing to explain yourself, hold it together, or be strong.
If you’re grieving, know this: your body deserves kindness too.
There is no timeline. There is no right way. Just space, breath, and support, one moment at a time.
Wellness isn’t only about fixing pain — it’s also about preventing it.
Massage helps with stress, sleep, mood, and feeling connected…even when nothing “hurts.”
So here’s your Wellness Wednesday reminder:
It’s okay to book simply because it feels good. 🤍
(And it really is a nice place to hide)
